I’m not sure it works that way, though. I got both of my devices in Port Harcourt. The ODU comes with 1GB of free data upon completion of SIM registration. Most times, people don’t realize that the device hasn’t been activated yet until the welcome data gets exhausted.

I usually receive that message between 24–72 hours after purchase. However, I keep calling customer care repeatedly until I get the migration done. This is just based on my personal experience, though.

Nice. I also observed that when I switched to 5G NSA only mode my speed improved a bit from 200Kbps to about 1Mbps. I don't have 5G at all.

From my observation, I could watch YouTube on 720p at 200Kbps on TV but with Airtel impossible. Either way, I have contacted MTN and I hope they can sort this out.
