The body of the Batch B stream 1 NYSC Corp member Kenechukwu Ejike Kennedy departed for his home land Enugu from University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital mortuary Borno State this morning.
Friends and fellow Corp members pay him the last respect at the entrance of the mortuary before his Corps leave for his home town.

But my observation from a concerned corper :
Where is this country going to? Imagine how can somebody who died in the cause of serving his nation be convey by road from Borno State to Enugu state?

The Reproductive and Health group Cds of the Nysc corpers in Kwara state (Oke-ero) held a campaign yesterday on the prevention of HIV and AIDS.

A walk down was done around markets , houses and streets. The corpers enlightened members of the community about the deadly virus HIV, talked on the prevention and also possible causes.

The Director-General, Management, staff and all Corps members nationwide mourn the demise of the 13th Chief Executive of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Yusuf Bomoi (Rtd.) whose sad death occurred today following a brief illness.

His funeral was conducted today in Abuja according to Islamic rites.

Brigadier General Bomoi was the Director-General from October 2004 to January 2009 and was credited with many achievements, especially his humane disposition to the welfare of corps members and staff. Equally unforgettable were his unparalleled administrative skills in running the affairs of the NYSC as the Director General.

His death is a great loss not only to the immediate family, but also the NYSC family and the rest of the nation.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones even as we pray to Almighty Allah to grant him eternal rest, and comfort them in this moment of grief.

May his soul rest in peace.

The app which features a simple registration and login system allows users register and login to the site within minutes, a messaging system that allows corpers send messages to other registered corpers , a list system that lists all available registered youth corpers on the platform and a sophisticated search engine that allows users find others.

In addition, the platform comes with a post system that allows registered members post anything in relation to their NYSC service year and experience.

The platform is also integrated with a news system that keeps registered and non registered members with up to date happenings in the different LGA or camps their friends or they might be.

“The purpose of the research project was to understand more about the relationship between playing football and being in a positive psychological and emotional state,” stated the report.
“This study shows that girls who play football have greater self-confidence than those who don’t play the game,” said UEFA’s women’s football advisor Nadine Kessler. “Drawing upon my own experience, I can’t emphasise enough how important this is when you are growing up.”
On June 1 UEFA will launch the “Together #WePlayStrong” campaign, which aims to make football the number one participation sport for girls and women in Europe by 2022.
