Arising from the sad experience of losing 2 of her siblings, to Sickle Cell at the tender age, Ms Okonkwo resolved to do all within her reach to reduce the scourge of the disease from the society. Her efforts in this respect have attracted an award recognition both from the Deputy Mayor of Southwark, Counsellor Lorraine Lauder and Carol Nwosu, the founder of ‘Sickle Cell and Young Stroke Survivor’ in the UK. She is the founder of ‘M & M FOUNDATION’, a charity organization, established to help vulnerable and grass-root people in Africa; set up in 2018.

He has won Best Producer at the African Film Awards in 2016 and 2017 consecutively.
His many TV productions are shown on flagship sky channels such as Nollywood Movies and Vox Africa. These include the high profile ‘Show 4 Africa’ and ‘Take 101’ Take 101 is a documentary TV series that helps filmmakers especially new, young and upcoming learn about the filmmaking process.
Malcolm is the President of the UK Nollywood Producers Guild and is actively involved in community leadership.
He has worked actively as a committee member for three Former Mayors of the London Borough of Waltham Forest and two Former Mayors of London Borough of Enfield raising money for various charities. He is a committee member for delivering the successful Nigerian Centenary Awards UK 2014.
Malcolm has also won the Gathering of Africa’s Best (The GAB Awards) for his contributions on the promotion of the positive image of Africa and Africans through The Arts He has also won the African Entrepreneur Award 2016 and The Life Changers Award as a Champion for Art and Culture being driven by his passion for giving back to the community.
