@jiggaz, actually we should be declaring that the Lord GOD/ the Lord JESUS CHRIST is our righteousness, which He mercifully and graciously imputes to us, because we have none of our own!
"But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away." - Isaiah 64:6
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord. - Isaiah 54:17
"In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS." - Jeremiah 23:6 (Also Jeremiah 33:16). It is the same thing in the article above... That our righteousness is from God. |
