I stopped buying overpriced fixed voltage chargers tey tey. Buck/Boost converters are cheaper and way more versatile. The 1200w below will realistically charge 24v @25A, 48v @15A e.t.c. It has pin-out for fan, or you buy the 1500w/1800w models that have fan bundled. Connection is not hard.

Jumia. Powmr 60A usually drops to around 85k at Flash Sales so watch out. I already bought like 4 for people previously. Also I don't know if UBA MasterCard discount is still on but that's another 7,500naira off. |

Nteogwuija: The 2.85kw is 410k in portharcourt. Not from retailers oh, from their warehouse at Transamadi. ManAdii: Not true sir. I have been patronizing their warehouse for sometime now. What Dam5reey1 posted are their official prices as at Friday last week. So you guys get better update like this and you keep am allow middlemen dey chop our eyes since. Most unfair is some people get personal update but would rather recommend these resellers to others - out of misplaced sense of loyalty or what? It's just wrong na. This is DIY not marketplace. |

Pearl1910: You are right, but Custom clearing fees is a gamut of charges including Duty, Excise, Terminal, VAT and other fees. So EVs are duty free but doesn't mean u will not pay anything at all when importing them. Normally to clear a year 2020 vehicle u will pay more than 5m to clear it. I see. Still a great deal. |

dollarnaira: You are sounding as if you are being employed to act like quality control manager for this group. It is not your thread bro and you don't have such power.
Do your installations, do your online reviews, test whatever you want to test, and get paid bro.
You don't need all these. You will only end up with more enemies. This is a DIY forum and should be a free learning hub. For chrissakes see this local man talmbout "It is not your thread bro and you don't have such power"? Also, getting paid should be the last sentiment prevailing here. Omoapena: I'm not convinced about electric cars yet. They're cool, but I think they need some time to get better. For now, I think switching to CNG makes more sense.
Here's why:
1. You already have a car, and converting to CNG is pretty cheap.
2. CNG is super fuel-efficient. You can drive a long way without needing to fill up much.
3. You already know how to fix your car, and parts are easy to find.
4. If your car breaks down on the road, there are lots of mechanics around to help.
So, I think it's better to wait and see how electric cars improve before switching. They're a great idea, but they need more time to get perfected.
Personally, I won't convert my car to CNG cox I don't feel safe doing so, but if we are to compare it with EVs and hybrid to reduce cost, I feel it's still the best option if you want to switch from gasoline vehicles... EVs are very easy to troubleshoot and fix. Plenty DIY examples on YouTube. Parts availability might be an issue though. |

Dam5reey1: Make we kuku turn the group to market place Listen. Let's take cues from foreign DIY forums na. Just the way you have been proffering China sellers links. You can proffer local too if it's a find. What is the point of a DIY forum where we promote egomaniacal resellers? DIY should be about sharing, not hording procurement information and making a business off our backs. If your resale prices are not clearance, then keep it to your offline shop. Unless the product you're coupling together is niche i.e. cannot be found anywhere else, the only thing you can arbitrarily charge for is your labour(expertise). I mean installers, and that is after we have volunteered enough information and the client is just not handsy. |

omotoda: So what exactly is your own point? A lot of people have patronised Valto here and never complained. If you feel his item is too pricey for you, just pass. You can't compare the economies of scale of Chinese manufacturers with an entrepreneur in Nigeria.I recently bought s 48v50 ah from him and I am impressed with the build and look ,even though I am yet to connect it as it's for use in another location. Don't try to bring down the hard work of anyone,e get why!!! The major point of DIY is to reduce costs to match quality. We shouldn't be in the business of pushing pesin market to the point where it gives the chance to turn around and chop people head. For someone that built his business on the back of this thread/forum, Valto is greedy, call a spade a spade. And never talk about build quality in the same sentence again. |

Kobojunkie: Give them a sweet life, you say! We had a neighbor back in the day who abandoned her husband and all five kids she had, choosing her freedom instead when things started to go south in her marriage. The next time I saw that woman again was in a music video by Kollington abi na Wasiu. This was back in the 80s/90s. While the man tried to be a good father to the kids, those kids suffered. I would not wish the life they lived with their father on even my worst enemy. I heard the first, a gal, was poisoned just as she came of age. I am not even sure any of those kids are even alive today.
2. This ex-wife did not regret leaving as she had already started another family barely two years after abandoning her second husband.
