LiteratureCoalition Of Youth Organisations Of Nigeria Holds Her First National Summit by joe4change(op): 6:30pm On Nov 22, 2010
Due to the need for Nigerian youths between the age brackets of 18-40yrs to get involved in politics and governance of this country, futuristic Nigerian youths came together under the coalition platform of (COYON).

More than 65% of Nigerian populations are youths, yet there has been no equal participation right of youths in the political system. If 65% of these Nigerian youths should come out and cast their votes to a dedicated and passionate change leader, I don’t think that there will be any form of election malpractice that will jeopardize our fundamental human rights as bonafide citizens of this country from the good leadership intended election come 2011.

In that effect, (COYON) is organizing the first ever “NATIONAL YOUTH POLITICAL SUMMIT” come Dec. 2010 at the National Capital Territory, Abuja.

VISSION:
To ensure equal fundamental rights of youths participation in Nigerian politics of today. And possibly producing the first Nigerian youth President, Vice President, Senators, Ministers, Governors, Commissioners, Local govt. chairmen and councilors come 2015.

MISSION:
To imbibe in Nigerian youths the need for change in the governance of this country, and also empower them politically and inculcate leadership potentials in them.

It then calls for invitations of vibrant Nigerian youths who see themselves as agents of change and seems to partake towards delivering dividence of democracy to participate in the forth-coming summit in Abuja next month.

Interested participants are to fill and summit the eligibility form below.

Note: (COYON) will sponsor four (4) most eligible applicants from each state at all expense paid to the summit while others takes care of their bills.
