Let's keep lying ourselves and defending people that don't like us. End of the year? It's gonna keep increasing CodeTemplarr: Speculation of currency is foolish. Since over a year now, people have been speculating for N2000 a dollar. If they had invested that same money into other productive ventures, it would have most likely taken their one dollar equivalent of Naira then to over N2000 but the dollar is yet to hit that mark. Morizo: Are we serious in this country at all? How are we going to get through it? Just give me one indicator you have seen. Inflation is going up, cost of governance and wasteful spending is going up, oil sector is crowded in criminal misery, food inflation going up, increment in school fees and poor people dropping out, companies leaving Nigeria and creating more unemployment, high cost of energy etc.
Please tell me, which indicator shows we are going through the right path? Study what the president of Argentina is doing and compare. He met Argentina worse than how Buhari left Nigeria for Tinubu but go see the exponential improvement in less than one year. Their president didn't rule Lagos but now same IMF whose script the LAGOS founder is following are studying Argentina methods how they crash inflation
Everything is not about tribe or politics. Lets start reasoning consciously together else this country may drown with us and our loves ones in it while those we are defending will run abroad. One of the biggest fascinating things I've seen in this country is how tribalism cause blindness. No matter how good your explanation goes, people never seem to see beyond tribalism. It's just a testament to who we are as individuals and why this country isn't working |

chrisxxx: Your mistake was removing subsidy and devaluing naira. In this way you dance into the hand of your lender world Bank. You will pay them in dollars. You needed money. You removed subsidy so that you could have enough money to pay your creditors why then devalue your money? This makes no sense as you have made it practically impossible to pay. A clear example of Treason. |

Racoon: Reports showed our GDP in 2023 stood at $375 billion with a per capita of $1700. In 2024, our estimated GDP declined further to $253 billion with an estimated per capita of $1087. These trends and figures show how our 9 years journey since 2015 has resulted in a sharp decline in our national prosperity.
Today, poverty is pervasive and on the increase. Unemployment is rising. Food inflation has skyrocketed to over 43%. Foreign and local investors are losing faith in the future growth of our economy and are leaving in large numbers. Businesses are shutting down. Urgent actions need to be taken to salvage the nation from further economic collapse and move it from consumption to production!
However, instead of concerning ourselves with all these challenges threatening our collective existence and finding ways to recreate an inclusive and sustainable economy, pull millions of people out of poverty, and return our nearly 20 million out-of-school children to schools, our leaders are more concerned with funding their selfish luxuries and individual lavishness, while throwing blames at others who are only committed to solving the nation's problems. Let's keep deceiving ourselves |
