1996 Toyota Carina E Wagon. Manual Trans. I don't know if its 2.0 or 1.8. Tried running a carfax report but it did not work cause its an European specs, Manufactured in Australia.


Bought 56 liters on June 1, It covered 537 km (city and highway) = 22 MPG.

Bought 54 liters on July 9th, it covered 405 km in Lagos road with the usual trafic. I used AC throughout. = 18 MPG.

I think this car has a good fuel economy.

I hope you will agree with me that Manual transmission if far better than auto in terms of mentainance and good milage for your gas. [/color][color=#990000][/color][color=#990000][color=#990000][/color]

You're damn lucky to get babyboy at 700k. Nija used babyboy is sold bw 850-950.

most models of cars are jointly two years attached so this one is 97-98 model while babyboy in vice verse.thanks for the observation

How we go take get money feed our children and buy your cars when everybody goes on strike? Strike is supposed to be the last resort when all negotiation procedures fails to yield result but in Nija, the reverse is the case.

Manual Trans is not bad at all for a small car. It consumes less fuel, has more torque, cheaper and easier to maintain when compared to auto trans. The only advantage with auto is that it is more comfortable to drive. Ever wonder why most BM's and Audi's comes with manual? Well I see auto as a lazy man's car.

Agreed, price is OK! how about reliability and maintenance?

I'll prefer 2007 CRV that has a good maintenance history and low milage. In the absence of the CRV, I'll go for Sportage. I just like the design. Tukson has a funny design which looks very toyish to me.

Just my opinion anyway.

Are you sure this is a 98 model? 98 is supposed to be BabyBoy not bullet.

Is the 1.675 fixed or an asking price? If it's fixed, you will need to review it 'cos it's on a high side considering the current market value.
