The body is a living soul, once it lives the body lives, but once it vacates the body the person's body becomes worthless and subsequently dies. The spirit serves as a guide in our lives. There are two different kinds of spirit, the good spirit (divine spirit from God) and the bad spirit (evil spirit from Satan). Now, the manufacturer manufactures a car with all the necessary components including the battery (let's say the soul) which energizes the car to function. The car now needs a driver (let's say the spirit)to help it function. Here, whether or not the car can perform to maximum will largely depend on the driver (spirit). To sum it up, spirit is different from soul; our body is a living soul and the spirit is an unseen force that assists us in our everyday life. |
