What kind of setup lets your chickens get near the water source unsupervised. That's on you, not the method. I'm not running a commercial operation anyway, I'm doing this as a private citizen for me and my dogs. Different cost, different scale. Your experience doesn't make mine false.

Duckweed, BSF larvae, growing your own protein sources, that's bog standard prepper infrastructure, not some exotic claim I invented for this thread. You're judging it against a commercial operation you tried and failed at. I'm not running a business. I'm running a pantry.
