Please all, what kind of email acknowledgement did anyone receive from bwoffshore, I applied for the position of a Producton Operator? Is it something like this here:

"Thank you for your interest in pursuing a career with BW Offshore.
Due to the large number of applications received, we will only contact short-listed candidates.
We wish to assure you that every application received will be reviewed and should you be selected for further evaluation or interview, we will be sure to contact you."

Please if anyone received a different or another email in addition to the one I just pasted, kindly let me know.

Your response will let me know if I should still expect any mail from them.

The FPSO will sail to Nigeria from Singapore by end of January 2016. Has crew accommodation capacity of 43 people. So a rotation will accommodate 43.

For those asking how many people they are likely taking, their typical FPSO unit takes... Production operators: 10, Maintenance (electrical, instruments, mechanical): 15, Marine guys: 10, Catering guys: 10, Management: 5. Wish you good luck.

p.s: I know this little about them because the company I worked for was their consultant.

Pls @PETERTAIWO get more relevant info frm ur friend who got d job last yr abt BWoffshore recruitment procedure n inform d house because timely info has a way of soothing d nerve thus d saying' that a pre-informed war doesn’t kill d cripple'.Let's be prepared in advance because I see ppl returning 2 share goodwill testimonies.

Frm d look of things d number of applicants for dis Bw offshore job is much so selection process wil be a big challenge so its gona be man know man 2 an extent mind u d Dec/Jan start date may nt be realistic, I advice whether u think u ar qualified or not dont bank ur hope on its recruitment process.18 positions needed average FPSO may not tak upto 300pple onboard dey ve existing staff, each position may require less than 10,imagine over 10,000 nigerians applying. So pls dont increase ur expectation quotient because many of its kind ve come n gone breaking n dashing hopes of naija skilled force & graduates. I rest my case.

They said resumption date is January 2016. U can revert tobtheir advt again.

U're complicating issues here. This trend is strictly 4 BW Offshore job.
U can create an opening to ur request else where.

I got an SMS and email from Push CV dat my profile has been selected for d position of Maintenance Engineer @ BW Offshore and dat I will be part of the selection process about two weeks ago. I'm yet to hear anything after dat, though I was on d road for almost 12 hours yesterday travelling with no network on my phone. I hope to hear from them soon.
