@Justbright it's very possible to get an o4 corolla for 1.1m, I deal on cars, I have a car stand here in Benin city, it's very possible, infact got that on 2 occasions from Kings Autos, he got the same car for me sometime ago at that same price, even fhemmmy Autos can still do that, these are trusted pre-order sellers on nairaland, few days ago when I listed out reliable sellers on nairaland so buyers can know who to transact with, one mod got angry over it and ended the thread because his name wasn't listed

Seriously speaking, it beats my imagination why someone will prefer to do a pre-order transaction with some dealer you have never met in your life time, trusting in his hands your hard earned savings & fruits of many years sweat, instead of walking into the countless car showrooms scattered all over Nigerian cities & pick your dream ride.

Ma, save up & get a friend/colleague that know things about cars, walk with him into a physical showroom, choose & inspect your choice, bargain, pay for the ride & drive it out, full stop!

Toyota corolla 04 is a sweet car no doubt, but must it be corolla 04? 1.1 mill can get u a sweet nissan sunny 04 auto or Camry 01. personally i believe dat due 2 so much demand corolla 04 is over-priced in d market. an advice don't give anyone a single kobo, until u c n inspect d car. best of luck

1.1m can not work with the current exchange rate. that amount can smuggle a car from cotonou with fake papers sha. u saved 1m, save more to complete 1.4m I know someone who can give u the car with a 1m deposit and u balance him the rest on installment if you are interested

I have been.saving for ling to get my first ever car and av always made up my mind to get either 04 or 05 corolla....i have been followin nairaland auto section for years now and d quotes i get for dis car is between 1.3 to 1.4million but recently i spoke to a dealer here on d auto section who gave me a quote of 1.1m for 04 corolla but on pre order basis...i have money ready but am just scared of going tru what some Nlanders are experiencing wt d likes of inspire autoand d rest......d said dealer asked me to deposit 400k and he will deliver in 21days....pls i really need ur honest opinion...thanks

ABUJA — FormeR Head of Service of the Federation, HoSF, Mr. Steve Oronsaye, yesterday, returned to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC’s custody ahead of possible arraignment.
Oronsaye was arrested and detained by operatives of the anti-graft agency, Wednesday, but released late night and asked to turn in himself, yesterday.
Vanguard learnt that Oronsaye was, however, asked to go home at about 6p.m., yesterday, and asked to report back to the commission today.

A top official in the commission confirmed to Vanguard that the former top civil servant had been taken in, yesterday, and that every indication pointed to the fact that he would be formally charged before an Abuja Federal High Court.
The official said: “Yes, Mr. Oronsaye is with our operatives preparatory to his arraignment. He was allowed to go yesterday after spending a long time and making useful statement to us. He was ordered to return to our investigators today and he reported around 10a.m. today (yesterday)”
It was not clear if he would be arraigned today or not.
Vanguard learnt that apart from being associated with the mismanagement of huge pensions funds, Oronsaye is being investigated over allegations by top Federal Government officials that he used his position as the chairman of the Presidential Standing Committee on Financial Action Taskforce to fleece the government.
The anti-graft agency source said: “Oronsaye is also being interrogated on fresh allegations of monumental fraud and embezzlement of funds in the running of a Presidential Standing Committee on Financial Action Taskforce, which he chairs.
“The committee is a policy advisory body to the President on the implementation of the AML/CFT. Oronsaye allegedly used it as a conduit to siphon and launder money.
“This fresh lead is triggered by allegations by some members of the committee who claim that Oronsaye operated an illegal account in a first generation bank in the committee’s name without the knowledge of the members through which he has laundered hundreds of millions of naira.”
The renowned bureaucrat has earlier been questioned in relation to the September 2014 damning 169-page report by the office of the Auditor General of the Federation claiming that Oronsaye mismanaged over N123 billion during his tenure as HoSF.
The report, entitled “Special Audit of the Accounts of the Civil Pensions,” found Mr. Oronsaye guilty of allegedly presiding over the looting of the nation’s resources during his tenure.

Are we going to continue on the bad legacy laid by our Leaders on Bsc. and HND discrimination. Why are we so myopic in our thinking as Youths of this great Nation. It is only here in Nigeria that this discrimination is well pronounced.
My message to the University graduates who see themselves as being superior over HND is: I hope you've all prepared for a showdown that may be more brutal and bloody than militants revolution or that of Boko haram insurgency. Poly students have undue advantage over Bsc holder in d area of dual certificates....a student may have a poor result in ND due to some preventable reasons and come back to make a distinction in hnd bt dats not possible in uni cos onece u take a bad footings in ur first two years u as as gud as ending badly.......

My second issue is dat of stylus pen...d "airview" feature whrerby u place d pen vlose to a txt or pics and it shows u d.content without opening d txt or pic isnt working....i used a.friends stylus pen to test and it worked.on my phone...pls whats wtong wt.ma.phone...thanks

Lollipop actually manages batteries better. Switch off the bluetooth, wifi, nfc etc etc, when not used and enable power saving option. Hopefully, you would get longer usage from the battery.
