🇮🇷 Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters, the unified combatant command of the Iranian Armed Forces, has mocked claims by US President Donald Trump that Washington is negotiating with Tehran and that the war is nearing an end.

In a video posted by Fars News on Wednesday, the military spokesperson said the situation had reached a point where the United States was “negotiating with themselves.”

"The strategic power you used to boast about has now turned into a strategic defeat...Do not label your defeat as an 'agreement,'” the spokesperson said.

"No freedom-seeking truth-seeker will be deceived by your media waves. The level of your internal conflicts has reached the stage where you are negotiating with yourselves,” he added.

“There will be no more talk of your investments in the region, nor will you ever see the former prices of energy and oil again, until you understand that stability in this region is guaranteed only by the powerful hand of our armed forces," the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson further underlined that Iranian forces would never come to agreement with the US and Israel.

"Stability through power. We explicitly declare: until we will it, no situation will return to its previous state,” he said.

“This will is established only when the thought of any action against the Iranian nation is completely erased from your filthy minds," the spokesperson further said.

"Our first and last word, from the very first day, has been, is, and will remain: someone like us will never come to agreement with someone like you. Not now, and not ever," he added.

🇷🇺 Russia and 🇻🇳 Vietnam signed an intergovernmental agreement on Monday to cooperate on the construction of the country’s first nuclear power plant.

The signing ceremony took place in Moscow after talks between Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and his Vietnamese counterpart, Pham Minh Chinh.

The agreement was signed by Alexey Likhachev, head of Russia’s state nuclear corporation Rosatom, and Tran Van Son, head of the Vietnamese Government Office.

During talks with Chinh, Mishustin said the project would provide a powerful impetus for cooperation in related areas, including high technology and fundamental and applied research.

Mishustin added that agreements between Russian and Vietnamese companies in the oil and gas sector will allow projects to develop fields in both countries.

🇺🇸 🇱🇰 Sri Lanka declined permission for two U.S. combat aircraft to land at a civilian airport earlier this month, President Anura ​Kumara Dissanayake told parliament on Friday.

The U.S. had requested permission ‌for the two aircraft to land at the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport in the southern part of the country from March 4-8, Dissanayake told lawmakers.

"They wanted to bring two ​warplanes armed with eight anti-ship missiles from a base in Djibouti," ​he said during a statement.

"We turned down the request to ⁠maintain Sri Lanka's neutrality," he added to applause from parliamentarians.

The U.S. had ​made the request on February 26. The same day Iran requested three ​of its ships to make a goodwill visit to Sri Lanka from March 9-13 after participating in an Indian naval exercise. That request was also denied.

The U.S. and Israel launched attacks on ​Iran on February 28, leading to a regional war that has severely ​restricted energy supplies and rattled markets.

"We were considering this request. Had we said 'yes' to Iran, ‌we ⁠would have had to say 'yes' to the U.S. as well," he added.
