Anybody who know if Airtel subscription can support Hotspot.. MTN works but glo didn't support it.. Just wanna know if airtel works cos I wanna try it out.. This short of data is denying me lots of download on my D5

jaymichael: I mean, dial *440*161# to get 4 GB with two months validity. The price is .1500 naira. if you haven't used the airtel blackberry package before, you might need to subscribe for the airtel daily bundle, to activate it. The problem is not watching but the data available on all network is not encouraging.. imagine my mtn bis finished in less than a week. I thought its unlimited that's why I didn't do bbc but bis of 1500.

Well I have my phone running smooth.. got like 10games now..pes inclusive. Without rooting. All I need now is how to snap the screen without rooting

hakunajay: when i installed fifa on my d5, the graphics werent okay especially the pitch, it was hazy. So i have to install chainfire3D which improved the graphics and it requires root.

Well I just download fifa apk and im downloading d cache... well if its because if fifa I will root then i rather stay glue with pes but I believe u can still improve d graphics with another apk that doesn't require rooting

That's true anyway.but with b1 u can unzip easily . .. I see no reason to root d phone cos without rooting its working on fine and I've got 8games in all..and the browsing is great over wi-fi

hakunajay: install the apk, it will start to download the cache which is about 1011mb

I think its better to download the cache when downloading the apk. In dat way there will no need for download of extra data

From what I saw ur pes is about 165mb and d one I downloaded was 29mb

But wenever I try to download it says unable to verify meanwhile my internet is ok cos I'm browsing over wi-fi hotspot of my bb touch and d speed is wonderful

Peroluv: guy stop sounding like a learner. no fone is complete. even s4 don't have evrythin. d5 is d best tecno except d 3g thing. simply get a 3g/hotspot fone to support u d5.

That's correct !! I use my bb torch 2 hotspot to browse always on my D5..its just like d speed of light.. I have not root mine and I didn't even know if it is rooted or not because I have asphalt6,angry bird,and 3 other games on it. Well I have tried to download more apps but it will be moving as if to download but will not and moreso I have downloaded instagram and it works

But I can't sit and watch while peeps needs to be educated properly.
If you get 512mb total as written in the manual, where does your current OS run and was installed. ROM = Read Only Memory. That's where your Os was installed and was partitioned into two. 162mb for application data
350mb for the OS. all are system directory i.e. the Rom in full.
Check Samsung devices running on 16gb onboard hard drives. What you will get in storage menu is 12gb only, where 2gb has been set aside for user apps while the remaining 2gb is for the OS
Regarding 512mb ram. In computer systems, you never get a complete figure of the actual size of a hardware. The system has its reserve chipped out and lets you Feed on the remaining

Bro , abeg how do u browse with Mtn free, I just arranged my D5 and I text tecno to 131,mtn give me free mb but I don't really know how to browse with dat mb.. I only browse vis wi-fi hotspot from my bb torch2
