Market has a cycle. It is called a 3- day cycle

I learned this from Stacey Burke Trading. Follow his page on YouTube, his course is also useful to help you think of markets differently

Your issue is this...

You are rushing these sell moves. They take time to develop.

Quality sell moves take anywhere from 10-15 hrs or more to develop and even then ,there is a high probability that the market may not be done ranging.

My suggestion:

1. Take only false breakouts sell signals- If you must take sell moves in a range , consider limiting your options to only sell signals that occur above 0.5x of the previous day's range.

Example: gold ranged between 2030-2048 on day 1, Tuesday (30/1/2024), only take a sell move on Thursday, Day 3(1/2/2023) if you see signals of mkt breakdown ard 2057 on day 2, Tuesday.

This system is replicable for range structures only. It will not work for reversals of a strong uptrend.

2. Stop taking sell moves within a range and focus on buy below base moves after key sell levels are taken out

Personally, I prefer option two. It is a very healthy option for your acct and peace of mind.

I've been doing this for 3years now and trust me, I have witnessed worse case than this. I got gbcad running on a different account and the profit alone is times two of these two losses combined(EU and EA trades) I talked about here.

Checking TFT competition leaderboard for this month I mourned. With that standing I would have definitely made it to top 10 and obtain 100k challenge account.

Now I have postponed my plans to buy 6k challenge on fundednext, I'm going with the competition worst case scenario i return 45% profit, I make top 30 that is 50k challenge account oo. Way, way, way better than the 6k I would have bought.

I'm already overjoyed. Next month no be play for me

Anyone that says Forex trading is not difficult, deceives him or herself. Gosh!
You enter buy, it goes against you immediately, you enter sell, it goes opposite ways. Only good swingers enjoy the market small.

If you have an edge that gives you good money management and good risk reward ratio, stick to it, if you have such you don't know what you have.
Even as a scalper, risking high can be tedious many times. One mistake like this takes you out and gives you a hallow of drawdown.

Even if you have a good strategy, you will still battle the brokers that have crazy and robust programs and algorithms to take you out at your stop loss and revert immediately to your direction, and when you are in profit, it moves so slow and you wonder who stops the market to move in your favour.
Little by little, we will get there.

Build a strategy that will cut your loss and give you good results with time. Not everytime you are needed in the market. Reduce your pairs you like to trade. If you are not experienced, stay away from gold, dax, dow, nas and oil. They are account killers.
A good 30 mins swing can give you 200 pips weekly on a pair and let you have peace of mind. Reduce the number of time you spend on charts, looking for what to enter everytime, which is the main reason many of us loose.
Stay focused and stay profitable.
Again Forex trading is harder than you think, don't listen to all those telegram and YouTube fake life profs that only trade on phone demos and will never show you the laptop version that will expose them.

Forex is difficult is difficult no be lie , to make it abit easy you need to factor in fundamental to capture the big moves in the market in the right direction. Fundamental 'll even show you when to stay out of the market. e.g. BOJ news this morning it likely to disrupt all your technical analysis.
