Anselm Ojesua is another candidate that contested with Asue Ighodalo and his case is about Asue not registered in any place to vote but inec in their defense prove that to be wrong. The appeal Asue and Obaseki have went to the court for is the one Shaibu obtain a court order disqualifing Asue as the pdp gubernatorial candidate for over 300 hundred eligible members of pdp who were not allow to participate in the primaries that elect Asue Ighodalo as pdp candidate.

APC is all out to take Edo state. The same played out four years ago when members of Obaseki’s cabinet decamped in large numbers, including party leaders across the state. Obaseki/PDP prevailed. The same is expected this time for PDP to win, irrespective of the actions of APC. I do not believe that Obaseki will lose to APC or LP, no matter what happens. I think Obaseki has done his ground work well. I also believe that not speaking Ishan language is meaningless when talking about further developing Edo state. Aside from roads, Obaseki has moved Edo state forward.
