The Sokoto Badagry is 1000km and the Lagos Calabar is 700km. I don't get it? Wha was all the noise all about? Why didn't they shout on the sokoto badagry that's more longer and more money to spend? I have neve r seen any northern kick against the sokoto badary but against the lagos calaber road. Something is not right here. |

Irony1: Hold on first of all this project is an AU project for Trans Sahara highway this is just the Nigerian portion and it has been on since GEJ's time. In Buhari's regime the project was stalled because environmentalist wamted the road alignment to be changed because the original alignment threatened the habitat of forest Gorillas in the cross river - Cameroon border. You guys should stop misleading people. Lol I hear u sir. I hope u know AU means African union. Very interesting read. |

Hmmmm, I am talking about followership, fans. Larger nigeria fans base even lagos won't follow tennis Like football. Ok let put it this way nigeria is hosting the world cup and also at the same time hosting tennis opens with all. the stars. I can bet you tennis won't have up to 300 people watching it. So it tennis federation that's not trying. They need yo raise more awareness about the game. |

Brendaniel: Lagos was already capital, the seat of power already, let's not try to rewrite history... Even it was it was cocoa money and tax from the west that was used in lagos development. Money from lagos development didn't come from outside lagos or the west. That's the fact. The western people tax was used in starting lagos development and for your information calabar was the first chosen capital of southern Nigeria but it couldn't give them what lagos had so it was moved to lagos. |
Politics › Re: Aerial View Of The Famous Police College Ikeja, Lagos In The 1930s by keemsleek(m): 5:58pm On Feb 04 |
Brendaniel: Question: Was it built by the FG or not? There was nothing like FG has of that time. What we had was colonial power and lagos was developed with money from the western region cocoa and tax. |
Politics › Re: Aerial View Of The Famous Police College Ikeja, Lagos In The 1930s by keemsleek(m): 5:37pm On Feb 04 |
Brendaniel: And it was developed and still built by the federal government using mostly oil money, just look at the area and ask yourself what was developed there before the FG started pumping money into the place, the same Ikeja has Army cantoment, Airforce base, Muritala Aiport, Ikeja(GRA) and so on all built by the federal government.
Has any state in Nigeria received quarter of the investment the FG has invested in Lagos?, Third mainland alone does not even have estimate because of how costly it was, yet they just kept on pouring into it just to complete it for Lagos, yet some of you will come out and start doing yeye comparison and giving glory Tinubu. Which oil money? Seems many of you don't know history which oil as of 1930? Lol we talkingvabout cocoa or palm oil has of then. Read history pls |

Y Brendaniel: Do you know some things were gradually phasing out during the PDP era as they stayed longer?
Now I am not here to say PDP was excellent in governance, but if you look at the trajectory on how development was going, you will notice somethings were gradually fading out due to development, e.g:
1. Molues - At Jonathan's time, Molues were virtually almost gone, people were no longer patronizing them as much.
2. Ice Water - Ice water they usually tie in nylons were completely phased out under PDP, why? people stopped patronizing them and Dr Dora of NAFDAC did a good work under PDP sensitizing people on the dangers of patronizing it.
3. Better Pass Generator - Gradual reduction of the number people using the gen under PDP, though people still used it but the numbers were dropping .
Now fast forward to APC era and gradually these things started coming back and now under Tinubu, though I still commend Buhari to some extent because he was able to sustain part of the phasing out of these things till Tinubu got in.
Tinubu is bringing them back, Molues reigned under his administration as governor throughout his tenure Let me ask what did GEJ regime eradicate molue or I better pass my neuigbour gen cos there was no light. gej was not lagos governor so how did he eradicate molue? As for the ice water I don't know much about that. |
