1 Month Certified RF/Transmission Engineering Training

RF Engineering

More and more people want to remain mobile while still connected to network resources. A typical example here is the wireless connection between our mobile phones and operators’ Base Stations. This concept of wireless (RF) is very wide and is covered under our RF Engineering training.

From scenarios as simple as connecting LANs in two offices together using radios and antennas in a LOS, Point to Point architecture; to complex scenarios of connecting thousands of handsets to a Base Station without cables (NLOS, PmPt), RF principles are basically the same and are covered under this course. These same principles can be applied in various formats, at different frequencies or manipulated to give birth to new standards. You will learn to configure Base Stations for Non Line of Site (NLOS) operations with Customer Premise Equipment (CPEs); you will learn to configure Radios for Point to Point communication, say between a branch office and its head office; you will learn to Design such RF networks, before implementation.

At the end of the training, you would have covered the curriculum for the Certified Wireless Network Administrator, CWNA, and be qualified to write the certification exam.

Starting Monday-feb 29-2016

Overview of Radio & Switching in WCDMA/CDMA OperationsNetwork elements of a GSM network like MS, BTS, Radio, PDH, SDH,BSC, and MSC will be analyzed with a view to understanding call setup and call completion processes. This will create a solid foundation for the practical sessions that will follow in NOC Management.

NOC Management:

GSM, CDMA, ISP operators networks are managed from rooms called NOC, where the entire networks are viewed on computers screens, and administered by Network Administrators. The network administrator plays a crucial role in monitoring the state of the network nodes such as BTS, BSC, VSAT and other Transmission Links.

Customer Service/Technical Support:

This course will familiarize you with fundamental issues that GSM, CDMA and ISP customers encounter, and subsequently position you to resolve such issues, via best practice troubleshooting processes.
The training is perfect for help desk technicians, hardware and software support engineers, and support professionals at all levels, as well as for new graduates looking to be employed this area.

All of this add-up your cv to become a Certified IT/Telecom Engineer.
