Today in Umuahia, the capital city of Abia State, as members of the Indigenous People of Biafra gathered to support their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
Immediately Kanu mounted the podium to address thousands of his supporters, the sun began to dim and suddenly a rainbow appeared as you can see below. The whole crowd erupted with joy and started singing “we are the children of light, we are the chosen generation”
According to majority of them, it was a sign that “heaven is fully aware of their struggle”

Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Seme Area command, have arrested three women in Badagry, Lagos, for allegedly using their compounds as hideouts for sales of cannabis.
The women were arrested following reports of illicit drug sales in the area.
According to the NDLEA Commander, Seme Area, Mr. Udotong Essien, the suspects are – Adesola Kolawole (30), Sade Oyewale (44) and Kadijat Mojeed (36).
Kolawole was caught with 2 .750kg of cannabis fermented in alcohol, Oyewole with 300 grammes of cannabis and Mojeed with 1.1 kg of cannabis dried weed.
“We received complaints that these three women were illegally selling and allowing the use of cannabis in their premises. Investigation confirmed the allegation of sales and smoking of cannabis.
“Subsequently they were apprehended and drug exhibits recovered from them. The command is also on the trail of other suspects who are believed to be working with the arrested mothers,” Udotong stated.
He said the women would be prosecuted to deter others from getting involved in drug trafficking.

Embattled Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has said that the reason he demanded bullets and guns from a group of US-based Nigerians in the past was not to hurt anyone but for self-defense against the incessant attacks on Igbos by the Fulani herdsmen.
He stated this during an interview with Adrian Kriesch of German TV station – Deustche Welle.
According to him, self-defense was recognized by all known laws at the United Nations (UN). “I am sure you have heard of the Fulani herdsmen killing people all over the place. How do you intend to defend yourself against Fulani herdsmen without guns and bullets?
“They have been killing our people, defiling our women, destroying crops in the farms and no one does anything about it. Is that how human beings are supposed to live? Self-defense is recognized even by all the known laws at the UN.
“We are fighting for independence, not fighting physically with guns and bullets. We are fighting in terms of our agitations; we are fighting in terms of our belief; we are fighting in terms of our consistency to ensure that we free, because we are not free.
“As a free people, we can afford to make life better for our people. Right now, we cannot do that because of how Nigeria is structured and because of the flawed foundation Nigeria rests,” Kanu said.
On the referendum, he said: “if the government does not agree to that, there will be no elections in Biafra land. No more elections here.
“They can put whoever they like in office. They can do whatever they like with their political positions. We will not engage in any political process.”
On his detention, he said: “I was not treated fairly because in Nigeria, people behave like animals; they are not disciplined enough; they are not mentally developed enough to run a transparent civil society.
“They have a fiddle mindset where you have the ruling class and a multitude of poverty-stricken people who never utters any word in rebeliion or to even ask questions about their plight. That is one thing we are determined to challenge.”
He concluded by saying: “what we are asking the world to recognize is that we want to live in peace and not in pieces. Allow Biafra to exist. We were existing before the British came. Just allow us to go back to what we were before.
“No African came to Europe to create countries. So, for somebody to just come in here and say ‘you, you, you, and you from today your name is Nigeria’ is simply laughable.”

The affected sites` homepages were replaced with the same black background accompanied by music. By noon (1 p.m), all of the affected sites appeared to no longer be online.
"As soon as we were notified of the situation we immediately began to correct it and will continue to monitor until fully resolved," said a spokesperson for the Governor`s office in a statement issued on Sunday afternoon.
"We are investigating how these hackers were able to deface these websites. We also are working with law enforcement to better understand what happened," said the Ohio Department of Administrative Services in another statement.
