Of course Barca have been the best or 2nd best(Milan) in Europe this decade, but i'm telling you that retaining that trophy is almost impossible considering the teams that are also after it. All teams know they have to beat Barca and being in the spotlight is difficult. Man U almost did it but see how they were dismembered in the Final, i can't still believe that game only ended 2 - 0
We d best, you wont believe it cool

Barca are always better who ? I take it you mean English clubs eh ?
Liverpool, Chelsea and Man U have all knocked Barca out of UCL in the last 5 seasons FYI.
Anyways your Barca are current champions so it means they can as well forget Europe, well unless they wouldn't mind Europa cup. cool
2 CL finals Against English Clubs = 2 Cups (4 goals, 1 against)

Manchester City & Barcelona Reach 'Tentative Argeement' Over Robinho Transfer - Report

All that stands between Robinho and a winter switch to Barcelona is the approval of Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, according to Spanish publication Sport.

Although sources at City have rubbished reports of a scheduled meeting with Barca officials in December the report suggests that the deal is already close to a conclusion.

It is understood that both clubs, have in principle reached a tentative agreement for the transfer of the player during the winter transfer window but the final details have yet to be ironed out.

Robinho will retain the same salary as he is on at City, believed to be in the region of €6.2 million per year, with Barcelona willing to pay half of the players yearly wage to secure a loan deal in January, with an option to buy the Brazilian during the summer.

City are understood to want a straight transfer completed in January but Barcelona are said to be confident that the player's wishes and the negotiation skills of Joan Laporta, which saw them land Dmytro Chygrynskiy from Shakhtar Donetsk, will be enough to conclude the deal to suit the Blaugrana.

It is understood that the final contract and financial details will take some time to be drawn up as Barca will seek to pay for the player over four years and if the deal is not finalised during the FIFA Club World Championships in Abu Dhabi, it will be completed in England before the end of the year.

Leaders in Europe

Barça is the only team in the major European leagues to maintain a 100% record.

Guardiola’s Barça will enjoy their position as the only team to have won all their league encounters to date
for at least another fortnight. If Barça win again on their next outing to Valencia’s Mestalla stadium, not only
will they continue their run as the only team in Europe to enjoy a 100% record, they will also break a Club record.

Barca equal best start in history

With the win over Almeria, Barca equalled their best ever start to a league season with six wins from six. The 18 points they've taken means they top the table ahead of Sunday's game between Seville and Madrid at the Sánchez Pizjuán.

The record, as a result of the wins over Sporting (3-0), Getafe (0-2), Athletico Madrid (5-2), Racing (1-4), Màlaga (0-2) and Almeria (1-0), matches those of the 1929/30, 1990/91 and 1997/98 seasons.

Barcelona Pair Xavi and Marquez Doubful For Valencia Trip - Report

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola will have to sweat over the fitness of Xavi Hernandez and Rafael Marquez ahead of their game against Valencia on Saturday night, according to Super Deporte.

Xavi returned from international duty with Spain after picking up a thigh injury in the 2-1 win over Armenia on Saturday. The midfield playmaker felt some discomfort in his right knee during the World Cup qualifier, which resulted in overloading pressure on his right thigh. A combination of this thigh strain and fluid on his knee may rule Xavi out of the game at the Mestalla.

Marquez was replaced in the final quarter hour of Mexico's 4-1 win over El Salvador at the weekend and is not expected to be fit for the game against Los Che.

Andres Iniesta on the other hand may feature. The midfield dynamo shipped a heavy challenge in the Armenia game, sparking fears of a recurrence of the injury that kept him out of action for four months but it appears now that he is in good condition after training as normal with Spain on Monday. He is not expected to feature against Bosnia on Wednesday so should be fit for the game against Valencia.
