The only way he can punish him is if he use leg or his connections with his officer friends the army or if it's his territory (police barracks) just like that boy say police beat up soldiers for obalende police barracks. Na him territory. That's all. But a direct order or punishment, it can't work. So you're telling that guy a CP can order a group of privates to go and mount a formation or post? Or make they pack their loads they're following him to maiduguri? Or make they go guard him wife and children 247 for house? Oga dey calm down abeg . I'm not saying the soldiers obeying is wrong, they can do it based on espirit de corps paroles and because he's senior in rank equivalent but you see if they decide not to obey, it's not an offence. That's what I'm saying. Highest the CP would do is to report .

Police dey give order to soldier lol. I don't even think you know the hatred soldiers have for police. Moreover is it in your father's village you've seen a para military officer giving orders and instructions to a military personnel? Maybe na your mama village for Tanzania e dey happen not Nigeria where soldiers even see the police as bloody civilians. Even IGP cannot give out order to a soldier. Except of course it's the soldiers will but if he refuses to obey, nothing will happen. And his superiors must not even know he's receiving orders from a policeman else na guard room e go find himself.
