The day I sent money from my palmpay account to a palmpay agent account to get cash and the money vanished. Agent no get am and they debited me. I tried calling their customer care They were telling me to get the bank statement from the pos. like you can't check another palmpay account for a transaction I'm complaining about. I decided to borrow money from them and deleted the account. They called me a few times and I told them the reason I'm not paying shii. They don free me. That bank is shit

He claimed that the missile targeted a defence industry facility in Dnipro, employing a non-nuclear hypersonic configuration. According to the Russian leader, the “Oreshnik” missile travels at speeds of up to 10 Mach, equivalent to approximately 2.5 to 3 kilometres per second.

He further asserted that existing air defence systems worldwide, including U.S.-developed missile defence systems deployed in Europe, cannot intercept this missile. “Interception is impossible,” Putin declared, underscoring the advanced capabilities of the weapon.

The Ukrainian authorities have yet to confirm details of the attack or the missile’s effectiveness. Dnipro has been subjected to repeated missile strikes throughout the ongoing conflict, often resulting in civilian casualties and damage to critical infrastructure.

Putin framed the use of the “Oreshnik” missile as a retaliatory measure following Ukrainian attacks on Russian territories. He alleged that the Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted strikes on military targets in Russia’s Bryansk and Kursk regions on 19 and 21 November.

According to the Kremlin, Ukrainian forces used U.S.-supplied ATACMS missiles and Franco-British Storm Shadow (SCALP) missiles during these operations. The Russian president claimed that an attack on a command centre in the Kursk region resulted in fatalities and injuries, while a strike in the Bryansk region caused no casualties.

Putin’s announcement also referenced broader concerns over NATO’s military posture. He accused the United States of planning to manufacture and deploy medium- and short-range missiles in Europe, describing the “Oreshnik” test as a response to these developments.

Moscow has consistently criticised Western military aid to Ukraine, claiming it exacerbates the conflict, even as it intensifies its own military actions. The Kremlin has sought to justify these measures as defensive responses to perceived threats from NATO and its allies.

Government should have provided an alternative for them, that's what they do in saner climes. All governors in Nigeria are guilty of this. Five Nigerians were arrested in Angeles City, Pampanga on Thursday for allegedly kidnapping their compatriot.

According to Philstar, the suspects, namely Evans Enwwereaku Chinemerem, David Chidera Ibegbulamo, Nwokeke Christian Ihechukwu, Nwokeke Cajothan Chinemmerem and Okonkwo Emmanuel Kosiso, who are all residents of Angeles City, are facing criminal complaints of kidnapping for ransom and violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

Central Luzon Police director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan said the suspects were arrested when operatives of the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group, together with Mabalacat City and Angeles City police, raided their hideout in Barangay Malabanias at around 5 a.m.

Maranan added that the operation was based on information from the Anti-Kidnapping Group that the suspects kidnapped their fellow Nigerian, Kingsley Chukwuemeka Ikeagwuana, a student residing at Urban Resort Residences in Paranaque City and held the victim for ransom.

“Hopefully, this will serve as a warning to those who want to commit crimes and to thieves,” he said. Three firearms, two .45 caliber pistols and a .38 caliber revolver with ammunition were seized from the suspects.

The new armed group, known as Lakurawa, has reportedly killed 15 people and rustled over 100 cows in Mera, Augie Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

A prominent personality in the town, Alhaji Bashir Isah Mera (Yariman Mera), while confirming the attack to Daily Trust, said the group invaded the town as people were getting set for Jumat prayer and made away with over 100 cattle.

“On hearing this, people of the town mobilised in their hundreds and pursued them to the bush in a bid to recover the cows.

“There was exchange of fire between the people of the town and the bandits which led to the killing of 15 people and two of the lakurawas were also killed,” he said.

Mera added that the Lukarawas are hiding in Sokoto bush from where they coordinate their attacks.

“Initially they didn’t kill, they only confiscated cows and asked owners to pay ‘Zakat’. That has been happening for almost two months. This is their first attack in which they killed 15 people in our town,” he said.

Mera said Governor Nasir Idris had called him on the phone twice expressing worry over the killings and ordered deployment of soldiers to the community to contain the situation.

He added that the commanding officer of Dukku barracks, DSS boss, Commissioner of Police and combined security forces have been mobilised to restore normalcy to Mera town and its environs.

Also the state’s Deputy Governor, Senator Abubakar Umar Tafida and Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Mera, have visited Mera town to sympathise with families of the deceased.

They assured the people that the governor had pledged to ensure their protection against further attacks by the terror group.

The Public Relations Officer of the Kebbi State Police Command, SP Nafiu Abubakar, could not be reached on the phone for comments as of the time of filing this report.
