*500 YOUTHS WALK AGAINST DRUG ABUSE*

In a bid to prevent drug abuse, misuse of drug and alcoholism, a Drug Abuse
Awareness Walk Campaign has been organised to enlighten and sensitise the youths to desist from and fight against these substances.
We have to take it up as youths to eradicate and reduce these acts,and the process should start now.

According to the latest statistics released by the NDLEA, 40 per cent of the Nigerian youths are involved in drug abuse and it's on the increase side daily. Due to this, Mr Akande Daniel O Evidence (eri) (the convener of walk against drug abuse) is organising various ways of eradicating drug abuse among others in our society in a bid to have a drug-addict-free society which will make our environment more safe for us.

This is to inform the general public that a 500- man walk against drug abuse will take off at Oke Ola, Gbongan, Osun state at 8 am on 24th of May 2018, the programme will feature sensitisation of youths (Secondary schools students/Tertiary schools students) on drug abuse and effect of misuse of drug, its effect also on the society.
