With all these point system used by universities, and recently released departmental cut off marks (high cut off for competitive) for dem, what is the fate of candidates with only credit passes (C6 esp) and an average UTME result of 180-250 in their quest for admission of their chosen course in institutions they chose?



Note: Some of these candidates may not have enough money/funds to try and re-write their o'level certificates examination..

My 2013 NECO result was C6 all through... dey didn't even try to mix it with either C4 or C5... From my POV, diz result is pretty good, buh I'll advice u, unless u av a better WAEC result or seeking for admission in a private university, u will still need to do more better (writing WAEC) cos with where things are leading too, 'ts gon be hard for ppl like us with results like diz to be given a fair chance at admission in a federal and state universities using the point system

Technically, could it mean that UI will have its candidates come to school for interview before offered admission? Prolly after registration.

Plus, I cannot see this information on the website. Kindly tell me what part of the website contains that update.

That update has been there for a while now, I think since last year nd it is meant for the 2015/2016 session.
Moreover, this year admission exercise is named Pre-Admission Screening exercise nd not post-utme exercise, I think there is a difference

UI are done (or almost done) with screening.

The others are irrelevant

shey UI wey thr registration go end by 23? dem never release thr model for screening o.. ppl just dey upload thr credentials only

It isn't every federal schools dat are done with their screening, Unilorin is an example, UI, UNIMAID, ABU, I bliv all diz schs are federal

Is it possible to learn programming and such without enrolling for related courses at school? Like a biology or art student learning programming or actually programming

A friend of my did account in place of commerce n was disqualified... .... was surprised too
