The Department of Public Prosecution (DPP) has taken over the case of 2-year-old boy allegedly maltreated by his father and stepmother in Benin City, Edo State. According to Ehis Agugu, the Chief Welfare Officer at the Edo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, little Lucky Pius was rescued from his abusive father and stepmother few weeks ago.
