Peter Obi, Disappointed In The Outcome Of The Osun Election, Accuses Lasun Of Betrayal.
 
The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, may have labored in vain in Osun State with his party not able to win a single Local Government Area when INEC declared the results of the 30 LGAs this morning.
 
Mr. Peter Obi, who was in Osogbo last week to campaign for the gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party, Lasun Yusuf, and told newsmen in Minna, Niger State on Thursday that the LP would win the Guber poll with at least two million votes, has been left with bitterness and grief.
 
Obi feels that the Labour candidate in the Osun election betrayed him, having claimed he gave Lasun Yusuf over 200 million naira for the election only for him to lose the way he did.
 
The Labour Party Presidential Candidate lamented bitterly over what he described as a painful and awful outing and vowed to recover his money from Lasun Yusuf and other Labour Party officials in the Osun election.
 
Peter Obi is currently embittered that of all the 3763 polling booths in Osun State, the Labour Party Guber candidate could only win 1, despite the money released to him. 
 
He didn’t state clearly what his next line of action would be against Lasun Yusuf, whom he already dubbed a betrayal, but the takeaway promise from the Labour Presidential candidate was that he would eventually recover his money from the Gubernatorial candidate; Obi said the 1 polling unit out of 3763 is not acceptable and shows the incompetence of Lasun Yusuf and others.
