The point here is that the people have completely lost faith, hope and trust in the govt. Take the case of "repentant" bokoharam/bandits for instance, after wasting hundreds of innocent souls and properties, they're rehabilitated and allowed to go Free. There must be consequences for bad behavior to serve as deterrent to others, otherwise, we're just building castles in the air as a nation

If you say that the govt has failed woefully, apcshit attack dogs will come for you. These people should have been handed over to the appropriate authority for proper investigation to determine if they were actual hunters or not. Who knows, innocent people might have just been wasted.
