I have this feeling that we have gotten it right this time.

Lol.. the funny thing I've noticed is that NOBODY has doubted the competence of these appointees yet, NOBODY has accused any of them of corruption in their previous activities, NOBODY has argued about their qualifications. All I hear is "they are northerners".. I'm surprised at how we judge things in this country. No doubt, these are men Baba knows and worked with right from when before most of us were even born so it's easier for him to pick these ones first. Over the years, he has met new people and worked with people from different part of Nigeria, I believe along the line he's found new friends and trusted (uncorrupt) people to. He has thousands of appointments to make still, it will be very irresponsible for anybody to think he won't balance his appointments as time goes on. I'd definitely trust my childhood friends first before friends I met in the university. That's the truth! It is to early to start wailing.

I've noticed something with southerners (SE and SS most especially). Each time one of your own is appointed/elected into a high office, your people try all they can to pull him/her down. Why? Back in 1999, PDP zoned the senate presidency to SE, we had 5 different senate presidents within 8 years (ewerem, late. Okadigbo, wabara, ayim and nnamani), when thesame post was zoned to NC, one man did the job for 8 years (David Mark), it might also interest you to know that majority of the people that attempted to eliminate our dear Dora (God bless her soul) were igbos an so many other examples.

when you get there use your enemies you hear? People choose who they trust and are most comfortable around to work with. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. GEJ worked with people he trusted and so will Baba.
