Can it fly for 1.5m?

I didn't want to say this but my conscience won't allow me. OP if you want reliability and economy, you can't be wrong with a Toyota. I advice you to stay away from German cars as a first car buyer especially here in NIGERIA.

Mind you, this is not bias. I drive a benz and I know my experience with it and I have related with other benz users to a reasonable extent.

Read reviews of whatever car you decide to buy online... & yeah, try to buy a 'buy and drive' with absolutely nothing critical / obvious to fix. Good luck.

Seriously bro... I would really appreciate you clarify more on this. I'm also looking to get my first car and I'm going for a Tokunbo, and my budget is somewhere around 1.5m...and I'm a diehard Benz fan, especially the S-Class, I've checked and the Tokunbo 2000-2003 models of the car can go for that price. However, I hear the car uses an "air shock" that costs a fortune if it goes bad.. And also, heard that Benz parts are generally costly, as opposed to Toyota and this is a big discouragement..
So, my second option is the Toyota Avalon 2000 or Lexus GS300 2002 Tokunbo, at Berger Auto market, it goes around 1.5 and slightly above.
So this is my dilemma bro.. Forfeit my obsession with the Benz S-Class cuz of cost of maintenance and go for something less luxurious and costly too, like the Avalon 1999\2000 or Lexus GS300 2001\2002.
Whats your advise please, I'd really appreciate it.

Did you read the scholarship award criteria in the advert sheet? It is not about this schools. Of course, no UK schools will ask you more than 6.5 IELTS score band for admission purpose. I am an Alumnus of Cranfield University and Nigerians don't need IELTS to study there.

The 8.0 score was set by LNG to filter out candidates. That was my point.

But one of the conditions states applicants should possess a minimum of ielts 8.0.. And applicants that do not meet any of the criteria would be disqualified. Are you saying this requirement is mainly for gaining admission into the preferred schools more than it is for applying for the scholarship?

I didn't really provide any such evidence. I was aware of the requirement but assumed there was or would be a way to circumvent it.. apparently I was wrong.

I got admitted into USN to study Maritime Management.. In the admission letter, they stated I have till 10th May to transfer the 103999 NOK... My issue now is.. I really don't have the cash and don't know how to raise it. Don't have security for a bank loan either.. It's really a dilemma. I'm believing God.
Anyone got any ideas for me to raise the cash?
