[i][/i]Hey! I'm actually stucked witha problem relating to my system. Im using Hp elitebook 8470p, recently my charger stops working just like that, I ran to a store to get either a 'follow come' or a 'new one'. The problem is whatever charger we use the battery would just states: plugged in, charing. But the battery wont add any percentage from its initial 10%, it just stucked there. I thought is the battery buh later removed the battery and use another system to charge it and it worked. Pls what could might be the problem? Is it the IC If so, Howmuch will that cost me?

Hi guys
I was working on my Dell Latitude e7440 and suddenly it turned off. The ac adapter and battery were in.
Now it won't turn on.
The light on the ac adapter is off. If I unplug anx plug back the adapter to the wall the adapter lights turn on, but when I plug it into the laptop the adapter lights turn off immediately. Of course the laptop still turned off.
Same thing happens when I remove the battery, the ac adapter lights will turn off.
The laptop won't turn on with just the battery in neither.
So the battery is OK and the adapter is OK.. I have checked with another charger, same result

Is there anyway to fix this please or is the motherboard finished?
