The wedding took place in Lagos yesterday June 28th and had songstress Tiwa Savage perform.

The likes of Senate President Bukola Saraki, APC National Chairman Adams Oshiomole, Ben Bruce, Aliko Dangote, APC National leader Bola Tinubu and many others, were amongst the dignitaries at the wedding.

An Alabama man filmed himself brutally beating his wife just for fun, then it was shared online.

The disturbing video showing the beating has gone viral and angered viewers. In it, the Mobile Alabama man is seen slapping the woman and stomping on her as she tries unsuccessfully to protect herself from the blows.

The video was recorded by a family member who did nothing to stop the assault. According to reports, the abusive man accused his wife of "telling their business" to the man's son from a previous relationship.

A woman haA woman has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping a two-year-old girl in Lagos as a result of loneliness.

Jumoke Adesida, 35, a resident of Odo-Kekere village in Ogun State, allegedly stole the child named Rokibat Raji on June 22 at her mother's shop, which is located at 12, Kazeem Adeboye Street, Jerry Farm, Odogunyan, Ikorodu, Lagos.

The police said the victim’s mother, Aminat Abidoye, 38, had reported the disappearance of her child at Shagamu-Road Division, prompting the state Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, to direct the Anti-Kidnapping unit to handle the matter.

Confirming the incident, Edgal told journalists that the unit tapped into the robust community policing structure to look for the victim.

He said: "Their efforts paid off as the missing child was traced to Jumoke Adesida, 35, in Odo-Kekere Village, Ogun State.

During interrogation, Adesida confessed to the crime. She explained that she needed the child to play with as her husband has taken her only child away from her.
"The suspect would be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded."

A former Executive Director, Marketing Communication at telecommunications company, Globacom , Okon Iyanam, was reportedly shot dead by unidentified gunmen at his guesthouse in Mowe, Ogun State yesterday June 27th.

According to reports, the gunmen after gaining entrance into his guesthouse, made their way into his room where they woke him up and then shot him at close range.
Iyanam was until his death the chief executive officer of Bond Consulting.

He was a pioneer staff of Globacom, serving as a special adviser to the chairman, Mike Adenuga, and was executive director, Marketing communications before he left for his private practice.
He was also a former Akwa Ibom governorship aspirant under the platform of Accord Party.
