I agree that Maresca deserves support, but I wouldn’t completely agree with the idea of waiting 10 games before assessing him. As a football fan, you can already evaluate certain things from the performances — the tactical setup, player selection, game management, mentality and whether the team is actually improving.

Ten games can give us a much clearer picture, but that shouldn’t mean ignoring obvious warning signs along the way especially for the community shied.

And while his history with the club is a nice connection, sentiment cannot be the basis for judging a manager. Football is ultimately about results, performances and progress.

Give him time, absolutely. Give him support, definitely. But supporting Maresca and holding him accountable can happen at the same time. That’s how a serious club should operate.

As it stands he's yet to have a solid first team and second team and before he can do that comfortably he will have to go like 5 matches to ascertain which player will fit into his pattern for each position, so it is from this I can comfortably say from his 10th match by which he would have used 3 month with the team on the pitch then we can start assessing him by my own estimate
