OLED is LG's premium panel used in their flagships TVs , they're also manufactured for other TV companies like Sony as well as phone companies for flagship premium phones.
Its not a new product as the person ( GloriousGbola ) who replied you said, the first OLED TV was produced in 2012 and launched in 2013, its been in used in LG premium and Flagship TVs ever since .
Just like Samsung's QLED they're expensive because they're premium panels , 2022 LG OLED Signature TV for instance will set you back N55m while OLED Wallpaper TVs goes for as high as N6.5m.


Basically, 4K Ultra High Definition (UHD) is about resolution of 3840 pixels × 2160 lines , OLED have four times the resolution of UHD LED panels , OLED TVs also have superior viewing angles, with consistent color and contrast at some of the widest angles.
