If there's anyway u can get an abandoned bb or any oda bb u don't wish to use again, fine. But MAKE SURE NOT TO EVA switch dat bb on as no two different phones operate with the same ime number. But if there's no bb at ur disposal u will need a PC to generate one

My simple server only downloads apps from stores like playstore and black mart. I can't stream videos on YouTube or download videos with uc browser or any browser at that. I can't check my mails except through gmail app on my phone.

In fact, the simple server is just used to download app from stores and nothing else. No whatsapp messages, no bbm messages, I can't even open the apps I downloaded cos of the poor reception from simple server. At first, I started downloading episodes with uc browser but everything just stopped when it got to about 100MB...

Is there any APN I should change or what? I need to get this server working perfectly.

you can get your playstore back without recovering your phone... Go to your root folder with any root explorer that you've granted root permissions, Go to system>>etc>>hosts... delete 'hosts' reboot your phone...
then you're good to go

okay use and zip opener like winzip or winrar... open the lui rom u downloaded ... then you'll see boot.img file in it...don't extract anything ... delete it... then locate your your cwm backup file ...open clockworkmod then you'll see boot.img ...copy the boot.img to the L UI rom zipped file... ie place it where the other boot.img you deleted was... then after copying it... now, flash the modified L UI rom through recovery

no... you said your phone is gionee m2 ... just install iroot.apk... use it to root your phone ...NB: you must have an active data network ...then use Vroot.exe to REROOT to get permanent root access

do you have mtk Droid tools... connect your phone with mtl droid tool via pc with appropriate usb drivers, then enable usb debugging mode, try and root it with mtk Droid tools and tell me the msg you get...i wanna check something

boot into recovery, the choose install zip from sdcard, locate the dolby digital plus.zip and flash it... it doesn't change anything in ya phone... it just installs the dolby digital plus

did you make a backup of your the rom u were using ... as in the Nandroid backup, of the rom you were using before you flashed the L UI Rom

yep, for sure. you'll see how much it is...but download it...it will download .. and plus, BLACKMART backups your files in sdcard/blackmart folder unlike Playstore

I love the L ui Rom. The only issue I have with it is rear camera problem.

Flash your former boot.img after flashing the L UI Rom... this should fix the camera issue

arinze ROM is working fine on my phone. but the only issue is that it didn't support any video player I download. mxplayer,vlc player, BSplayer etc. all of them are just forcing close. and I don't like the inbuilt video player a bit
