Nsonaso: Yes but ETISALAT 3G network is not in my area the network is too slow for my liking.... It's only airtel and Glo that has 3G in my area but Glo is more faster

sorry,is etisalat fast because there's another method of browsing with etisalat called PAYG (pay as you go) have you heard of it

Ok so far what i've seen here is enough for me because i've known blackberry phones that can tether wirelessly to an android device,tab or pc,thank you guys so much for your time and knowlegde on these things,even a whole google can't aswer this questions that was why i ran in here immediately

Nsonaso: What does perfectly is BB with OS 10 and above (e.g Q10, Z10, Q5) I use Q10 with Glo BIS 1k for 3GB and it works perfectly though never tried it with other Network since Glo is the fastest Network in my AREA

If you don't have the money to buy a new BB OS devices, you can buy a fairly used

does your curve 5 have all the necessary requirements as they said first and foremost it must have o.s 7?

validblinks: First of all Os 7 devices allows tethering,it depends on the network,on my curve 4 I'm using glo,and it works fine when connected to my pc,secondly @OP is correct mtn daily bis is capped 3GB, due to my work wen I want to download large files I normally sub the mtn daily,buh on daily basics I use Glo

WHees: Mtn? Not at the moment, besides the 1 day plan has a data cap of just 50 or 100 mb if am not mistaken.

the last time I used bb I subscribed to mtn one day subscription plan that's #100 for 3gig BBCDAY TO 21600

emeraldlife: I suggest u try out Q10, Z10 or Q5. Glo BIS currently work on those devices and all can tether.
Curve 7 and BOld 5 are BB0S7 that don't tether on BIS but u can try using airtel ifu chose any one of them.

tab with another big phone na only me rich pass,maybe curve,bold or storm bb devices

WHees: Any bb with os version 7 or above can tether, the problem is with the service providers that restricts the hotspot functions.

Only airtel allow their bis/bbc to be shared with other devices or pc's.

I intend using mtn one day subscription as in #100 for 3gig one day plan
