Here's my honest advice to the OP who is a young 20 something year old man. You can travel to there that is the only way you will have first hand experience. You can date South African girls if you are lusting after them so you quench your curious desires about them but anything beyond that is at your own risk.

South African ladies are not trained for life -long relationships and are similar in psychology to African Americans. One small argument and your relationship is over, and they are on to the next person.
