InvestmentWhy Not Invest In 'offline' Businesses by leonard002(op): 8:22pm On Jan 16, 2017
How I wish people spent more time looking for, and investing in 'offline' businesses, than they did in online 'businesses'. Our economy would be in a far better shape than it is now.

But, I guess people will always be always by the idea of 'investing' little money, doing nothing, and getting massive gains, all in quick time.

Smh...
HealthRe: Beware Of Herbal Preparations by leonard002(op): 11:43am On Jan 12, 2017
If you're still adamant on taking these unresearched herbal products, then go to the lab periodically to check your liver and kidney function. At least once a month.
HealthBeware Of Herbal Preparations by leonard002(op): 10:41am On Jan 11, 2017
I was having a chat with a friend and the issue of herbal products came up. He was a Yoruba guy, so he told me of a product which I can't remember the name now. According to him, the product is 'super' and 'powerful', and can cure almost every disease in 'the body system' (God... I'm feeling stupid right now )

It was such a pity, for that friend of mine is a graduate who is considered as someone who can at least think for himself.

Forgive me if I'm being skeptical, but how on earth can one prepared concoction cure 'all bacteria', 'fungal', and 'viral' infections. Herbal preparation drinkers, you've got to be careful.

Most of these 'ogbonge' herbalists with their 'ogbonge' drugs are just charlatans looking to make a quick buck. They have done no research whatsoever about their preparations. No pharmacodynamic tests, no pharmacokinetic tests, no pre clinical tests, no clinical trials, no drug-drug interactions, no food-drug interaction, No nothing.

Basic pharmacology tells you that it takes at least 10 years for a drug to enter the market, but these guys get a few roots, and a few herbs, marsh them together, put it in bottles and market them as 'ogbonge melisin'. These harsh preparations then go ahead to destroy your liver and kidneys. How some of these guys manage to NAFDAC approval is still a mystery to me. (Goodness... I'm still feeling stupid )

Now, I'm not doubting the fact that drugs can be gotten from natural sources, but the production of these drugs are handled by pharmaceutical companies and other professionals with a reputation, not local herbalists.

Be educated. Seek professional advice before taking any medication. In fact, do not take anything not approved by your doctor or pharmacist.

Be safe
EducationTwo Kinds Of Losses. Take That Chance TODAY by leonard002(op): 10:14am On Jan 11, 2017
In life , there are two kinds of losses , the first one is one which you lose directly . And the second one is one in which you lose because of your inability to make a decision or due to procrastination.

Surprisingly, we lose more in the second case than in the first, which is why it is often better to make a decision and screw up, than making no decision at all.

What's the worst that could happen. Do some fact finding, and make a decision. If you're wrong, you learn. If you're right, you reap.

According to death bed researchers, most common regret among dying folks, apart from not spending enough time with their families, is failing to make decisions, failing to do more of the stuff they've always dreamed of doing. Fear of getting a 'no', that they don't man up to ask in the first place, which, funny enough, still resulted in an indirect 'no', meaning they still didn't get what they were seeking.

Take that chance!

Have a great day
WebmastersRe: Do bloggers Make Money when people just visit their site? by leonard002(m): 10:27am On Dec 26, 2016
Toks2008:
I was discussing with some people yesterday and we argued over the fact that blogs like nairaland, lindaikeji and so on make money from google when people just log on to their site without clicking any ad and I began to wonder if that is true.

So I would like to know from knowledgeable individuals if this is true.

Thanks
Nope, you only make money when an advert on the blog is clicked on.
