What a shame.

Young people, there are too many jobs out there to make you rich over time. Gentle steps, with time, patience, God’s favour will bring you peaceful wealth.

Do you know that Dangote, BUA, etc, all own very large farms? Even Buhari is a livestock and crop farmer. Do you know the price of Cassava, yams and even vegetables in the markets presently? Why do those market women build houses with their vegetables money? What about noodles and eggs in good locations? They are little but mighty. Motor boys on trucks make 5 - 10k daily peacefully. While you wait for while collar jobs, skilled people make plenty of money daily. Truly jobs are hard to come buy, get some skill and keep away from get rich quick businesses.

Getting rich quickly comes with pain and sorrow. How would you drive the best cars, live in the best houses from fraudulent money and find yourself in prison in a short time, losing everything with nowhere to go after?

“Tinubu is bad, Tinubu is bad, Akpabio is bad”. Elect good leaders and get your peace of mind. Stop collecting bribes to vote for bad leaders. Wake up and live!

Politics / Re: Shelve Protest, Give Me More Time: Tinubu begs youths amid Aug planned protest by lereinter(m): 5:16pm On Jul 23
te author=GreatKingg post=131106918]In as much as I support the reform being carried out by this administration, I don't think it is wise enough to tell the citizens not to protest peacefully. Peaceful protest is part and parcel of democracy - which we currently practice.

Moreover, Tinubu and his goons protested against GEJ. If I'm not mistaken, it seems they even led the protest, not just a regular protester. They now sound more like hypocrites - urging and begging people not to protest peacefully.

Now, my only problem is Nigerians don't know how to protest peacefully. It is difficult for a peaceful protest not to be hijacked by criminals in Nigeria. That is my only fear in this.

The administration should not be afraid of a peaceful protest. But the fear of the mayhem(s) that has always followed the so-called peaceful protests in Nigeria is scary. A lot of criminals are waiting by the corner to unleash mayhem on people and businesses, all in disguise of protest.

All in all, the government should communicate clearly with its citizens, assist the poor and the needy in this difficult period of the reforms, and more importantly, cut down on government cost.

I was so disturbed and concerned when news broke the other day that the Nigerian government released N90 billion to subsidize the cost of the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage for citizens. This is not only wasteful, but so unreasonable in a country where over 50% of its citizens live below the poverty line. The government really erred on this. Imagine what that amount could have provided for each family in this difficult period.

But on a second note, Nigeria is a very religious country. The subsequent government tries to assuage different religious groups so as not to be labeled anti-christian/anti-muslim. At the end of the day, we (both citizens and leaders) are our own problem.

As I have always maintained, we need re-orientation as a nation.[/quote]

Help me to see the reforms

hatred and jealousy will never let you see the point. A 60 yr old man in 1993 isn’t the same as a 90 yr old man in 2024. Ask yourself, how many 90 yr olds in your family, if any, is still cognitively active and articulate?

What of in your own family?

You see I like it when people defend falsehood and evil vehemently, cos they shall reap it too

It is overzealous media personnel like you that won’t stop trooping to his house for his opinion on the government. The old man even moved to a remote place in his hometown, a place far from the city, just to enjoy peace at his final stage on earth but journalist won’t let him rest. Hence, the reason why he told them he’ll speak at his own terms and not at anybody’s terms. I know the hate and jealousy in you couldn’t make you read in between the lines. That interview was a waste for the newspaper cos he didn’t give them what they wanted.

Open your mind

Set out to stand with the truth

Those times he was speaking even from ibb times that I have read about him till buhari time, it was journalist that was forcing him to speak

A policy him and his fellow foolz have always mouthed before being president

But the evil spirit residing in him only told him to remove subsidy and devalue naira on the very day of inauguration

It's Ok and a lot of people feel same way but will the protest put food on the table? Or will the reversals of policies brings cost of items down again. Our case in Nigeria is that of someone that want to go heaven but didn't want to die. This 2 major policies must have a serious impact. This government just nail it from day one so that there will not be window dressing as usual. Am optimistic Things will work. I remembered some people left Lagos back to village during Tinubu government in Lagos as the guy policies were strange and difficult then, but today, people have seen the results and are struggling to go back to same Lagos.

What's the result of the policy in lagos? Itemise it

What tinubu did to nigeria suddenly may 29 2023, such will happen to you and your generation

This man can say anything because he has more than enough to eat and lavish, having been in government work almost all his life. How about those that don't have a meal for the moment, how do they wait until the time he's projecting? Meanwhile the citizens are asked to tighten their belts but those in government keep expanding their spending, what do we make of this? Talk is really cheap. "Faith without work is dead..."

Hmm

Low self esteem guys, shy, guys that are restricted to house and then come across porn

Are prone to be addicted to porn then always masturbate unabated

But masturbate is of diff fashion and maybe reason for the married and unmarried

Thank God you were able to break lose of porn
Religion / Re: The Best Way To Stop Masturbation And Pornography (my Story Included) by lereinter(m): 3:15pm On Jul 21
otherway:

You have written nothing.

You only ended up blabbing.

There is a difference between addiction and a habit.

Masturbating is not a sin but a habit that can lead to addiction just like eating, reading, playing games, smoking, drinking.

People masturbate for medical reasons.

But if you find yourself getting addicted, that is when you need to watch it.

As for porn watching I will say clearly that it should be discouraged (not that is is expressly sinful) but it has the tendencies to currupt iyr minds

But the first step to avoid msturbatiin is to get married.

1 Corinthians 7:36

If anyone thinks that he is not behaving properly toward his betrothed, if his passions are strong, and it has to be, let him do as he wishes: let them marry — it is no sin.

May GOD grant us wisdom.
