Assa North – Ohaji South gas project is a Greenfield gas development project aimed at supporting the domestic gas market. This new gas plant located in block OML 21 is operated by Shell Petroleum Development Company.
The field extends into block OML 53, where it is called Ohaji South and is operated by Seplat Energy Plc. In combination, the unitized field is called ANOH.

The first phase has a processing capacity of 300 million standard cubic feet per day, with the facility expected to deliver dry gas, condensate and LPG to customers. It is targeting the domestic market for the dry gas and LPG.
