cyif2003: Abeg our veteran drivers on dis group.. I have been driving bolt ( not consistently) for over 5 years basically on weekends... But I want to really enter it full tym.... But e b like say e get somethings wey una sabi wey we no know. For example the guy dat does night jobs, does he just drive to d island and start accepting rides kus I no that place is usually busy all night... Abi na mainland him dey work dey see dat kind money?
Also are there area people shud avoid going.. personally I avoid going to apapa and ikorodu. Some times I hate going to igando axis too...
I only work on d island when a trip takes me towards that direction. I will not just randomly drive to lekki from d mainland and on my app. What I am doing it it right??
Pls enlightened me abi us. If you've been driving for 5 years, then how come you're asking these questions? Just keep doing what you're doing. Maybe you need to drive more hours and select better trips. Don't do night driving, it's not advisable, many have gone. Stop looking at what others are making, some are not real. Don't believe everything you read or see on the Internet |

I don too tire for the process. I think all apps accept it |

odimbannamdi: What if you ask and they sincerely tell you the wrong location. It is possible that rider is not familiar with the destination and s/he may have just copied and pasted the address into the app without committing it to memory.
If you are concerned about seeing the destination, take it up with the app companies so that they make the destination readily visible on the order notification. Seems you're still living in the past. All apps show destination now. But sometimes, driver might ask just to confirm. |

Pearl1910: Stand one place... U can advise against night driving and u will have a point. But if ur locus standing is that he makes such high amounts because he works only at night, then u are out of line. Also don't try to moderate or regulate him if he chooses to post his earnings to make another person see and believe that it is possible. Sorry, do you do an average of N500/km during the day? If yes I'll like to see it. I'm sure you get my point but you're just trying to twist it. If drivers get N500/km trips on a daily, I'm sure there won't be much complains. I've asked him how he gets such high fares online, and he said bcuz he drives at night. |

Pearl1910: Lolz... Are u joking or something. Between Day and Night when do u have crowd of commuters? If someone is making 1m only night driving don't u think someone doing day and half night will make double? Why are u intimidated of his earnings, u should be motivated and encouraged to do more if u aren't doing that amount. There's nothing motivating or encouraging about driving at night. The risk is not worth it. I repeat, you'll hardly get N500/km trips online during the day on indrive. This is indrive. You'll hardly even see N300/km trips during the day, not to talk of N490. Even when you see, fastest fingers won't allow you. Maybe because there are not too many drivers on the road at night, that's why he's able to get such high fares.

cyif2003: Good morn. Pls how often do police ask for lasdri and hackney permit.. I majorly work on weekends and nobody has asked me before. But I plan to work on some week days now but I need to know if dey disturb for it. Police has no business with lasdri or hackney permit, only VIO. They don't work on weekends reason why you haven't encountered them. You might run into them on weekdays, so be prepared. Either you tell them you're not Uber and stand your ground or you don't stop for them. Whatever you do, make sure you and your Rider are on the same page , if not, your Rider fit cast you. |

Obedibombedi: After a much needed vacation, Obedibombedi is back. Target for May is #1,200,000 Any particular reason why you keep showing off your earnings? I'm trying to understand the purpose of these posts. Must you tell the whole world how much you earn? Not wise bro. And please, always state it in your earnings posts that you do strictly night work, so people don't get the wrong idea. It's very hard to achieve N490/km during the day. |

DEGREE2466: Uber is m@d actually. You can't imagine that after visiting their office at Maryland mall and snapping with both my expired and temporary license, they still rejected it.
I have not been able to use Uber since December 22nd, 2024 till date and my permanent licence is taking forever.
Thank God for Bolt and Indrive. This is why competition is good. Imagine Uber is the only ehailing app? I would have not been able to work for how many months now?
In as much as I want to hate Indrive for crashing the market price, they still helped to put Bolt in their place. We all know how difficult it was to get Bolt bonus with ridiculous conditions compared to now that only number of completed trips count, and other policies that Bolt relaxed or implemented because of indrive which seemed impossible for them to do earlier despite the complains of drivers.
So, I'm not hating on any app. I just maximise my earnings using all. While they try to use you, try to use them too. Sometimes I intentionally accept trips on both apps and cancel the one I feel is less lucrative. No pity for any app or rider, just keep your eyes on the money. Did they give you any reason why it was rejected? Bcuz mine was accepted |

Biodun1929: The last day I went out was last week Wednesday, and below is the break down of the trips. I started the day with a visit to the filing station, and bought 25k fuel.
*First trip From Idimu-Ejigbo road to Governors road (Igando road end of governors road, not ikotun end) Duration - 18 mins Distance - 7.7km My income - N2,499
*Second trip From Isheri-igando road to Ikorodu Duration - 94 mins Distance - 45km My income - N9,640
*Third trip From Ikorodu to Tejuosho market, Yaba Duration - 72 mins Distance - 29.8km My income - N6,337
*Fourth and final trip (The trip was going directly to my area, and I wanted to close for the day...which is the reason I took this ride) From Unilag/University road to Egbeda Duration - 65 mins Distance - 18.6km My income - N6,069
Total money spent on fuel for the day - N25,000
Total income - 2,499 + 9,640 + 6,337 + 6,069 = 24,545
Real income for the day 24,545 - 25,000 = -455
This means, after working for hours last week Wednesday, I actually lost N455 naira. This is why I decided to stop and re-evaluate things.
So guys, what do you think? Is it my car, or the trips I took? You mean the 25k fuel finished after just 4 trips? Were you driving around looking for trips? How many kilometers did you cover in total for the day? If the fuel finished, this means your car consumes excess fuel. |

cyif2003: Dem no accept my driving licence ohh... My original is not our. Temporal is expired and frsc and extended it by stamping and signing on it You can imagine. When did indrive start rejecting drivers license? Even Uber and bolt accept FRSC stamp. How have the mighty fallen. Indrive have cornered the market, now yanga don start. Same ish bolt did back then. The funny thing is, the same drivers that gave them the market, end up being the ones at the receiving end of their new policies. They use us to gain the market, then they switch up on us. Happened with bolt, now it's happening again with indrive. We never learn. |
