Fair enough but being insultive isn't being proud, that's rudeness and discourtesy. Don't think they're same thing.

And some insults are warranted and apt, there are some instances were someone will make an outright silly comment in an otherwise educative thread/debate and the only way to call them to order is by being very blunt which can be mistaken for insults.

As for snubs, you don't expect people to rapport with everyone or requite every mentions, do you?
