MasterPDON: i'm having the same problem as kingscollege. the phone suddenly turned off, and its impossible to switch on. and even when i connect it to charge, nothing displays on the screen. it's like there's no battery there. taking it to carlcare tomorrow, but i'm afraid of when to collect it back.

Next time don't use it again till it's 1%....
Don't charge it from switched off with a PC / Power Bank.... On it be4 charging with the above 2
The phone's battery is 4000mAh....
Much higher than most pc batteries....

MasterPDON: Hello, guys. I just finished flashing cwm recovery image into my p9 and it worked. I then started to take a rom backup. My battery was at 1%. Then my phone went off all of a sudden (it was charging). I tried turning it on but i couldn't, so i left it to charge. After a while, the screen started blinking. Coming on and off. Then it stopped. Since then, all efforts to turn it on proved futile. I've tried the 15 seconds power on countless times. Didn't work. What can i do, guys. It's been 2 days.

Boss try using direct charger to charge it.
after remove it and wait for 10mins then hold down the on button for 30secs. Wait keep the phone for 20mins the check it again.... it should be on by now.

Oga use the drop down where notification dey and click the profile icon, goto:
settings
Apps
shift to all
go down till you see Launcher,
open it and click clear data,
everything in the launcher will clear.
then it'll start working again.

OR

through the initial step,
instead of finding Launcher,
look for your Google play,
open it and click launch,
then search for a launcher called "Solo launcher".
download and install it.
set as default launcher, then you're good to go.
