If this really happens then they should prepare to make this the last Big Brother Naija season ever. It’s not a bad thing because they’ve made enough money from the country and have built a studio which will serve as the West African base for the show. We can then start seeing BBGhana, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Rwanda and co, using this Nigerian base.

Some housemates will lose fans, because some of these new housemates have the same things they bring and more, this is where the X factor comes in.

The new housemates may alter the Top 5 and alter the eventual winner, even if they themselves don't win. I see why certain teams are scared, their fav has no X factor, they should be scared

These new housemates might not be fake. Earlier this month when we were this discussing the bet9ja odds here, the option 'Other' with 4 odds was on the list as a potential winner. I told someone here that, the option might indicate the introduction of housemates not on the list.

What's funny about what you just wrote is that Tacha will still make it to the final week irrespective of any housemate they bring because her fans are very loyal to her and she has a lot of moneybags funding her campaign.

What I initially wrote doesn't have anything to do with Tacha. Don't you get it? You think Tacha is the only housemate I like? There are other housemates I and a lot of viewers enjoy watching for the unique qualities that they bring to the show and I feel they are going to get drowned in this flood of already popular housemates coming into the show, and due to the emotional investments people already have in these old housemates it's going to lead to a reduction in viewership interest.

I know trolling is something you enjoy, but sometimes you need to just sit back and be reasonable. You can't be a troll everytime.

I know I'll get quoted by people who will make this about my support for Tacha. My criticism of this new twist goes deeper than my alliance with any particular housemate. It's born of my love for the show and the empathy I have for people like you who are already emotionally and financially invested in some of the older housemates.

[s] If Biggie is actually going to keep on introducing new housemates within the week, most of which are already popular on social media, I really pity for the future of the show this season. At first it would seem entertaining for a lot of people because the house would become more lively and there would be newer faces every where but after a while a lot of people will begin to lose interest because prior to now emotional investment in the older housemates has already been established by a lot of viewers. Emotional investment in people isn't something anyone with any sense of human psychology would want to mess with. Apparently those organizing the show seem oblivious of it's importance.

Believe it or not a lot of viewers are already invested in many of the older housemates. But with the introduction of these slew of already popular new housemates all attention would be switched away from the older housemates and majority of the camera time would be on the new housemates. This would become more of a problem when the older housemates start getting evicted in droves, which is imminent because there is a high probability that the older housemates will still continue to nominate themselves for eviction either due to already haboured animosity, perception of threat or the belief that these new housemates are fake housemates.

What will then happen is a constant depletion of older housemates and too little time for the already irate viewers to develop emotional investment in the new housemates. Trust me, this will kill viewership interest in a way no Big brother show has ever experienced before. A catastrophy is imminent. I can bet my life savings that this gamble won't yield half the results the organizers thought it would. But at least it would serve as a valuable lesson. [/s]

Yes, Ike did not commit any crime on the show, that doesn't mean we should all applaud what he did.

One thing I've noticed that the people that openly show desperation to win this show has never won. Right from the days of BBA there's always that desperado who gets booted out during the course of the show. Ike is the desperado this season, let's see how far his desperation will take him.

Every other housemate was asked about the stolen coins so why should Ike be any different? He has every reason to feel unsettled, he held on to what does not belong to him and was probed. He deserves to be red in the face with shame. That you're playing a game where stealing is allowed doesn't mean you should lose your humanity in the process. You already have a decent amount of coins, you still want to hold on to someone else's entire coins. If that's not sheer wickedness, I don't know what it is . Yes, this is not a religious show but it doesn't mean we should condone and applaud wickedness all in the name of playing a game.
