I was thinking that the 2021 AFCON belongs to us, but am honestly having a rethink about it.

A good team is not just known by the starting 11 but by the depth of its bench and reserve. The absence of some key members obviously showed over the 2 matches.

Iwobi had no alternative in the two matches. There should be aggressive scouting for AM position to support Iwobi.

Somebody needs to sit Ejuke down and tell him this is 2020 and not 1980 when you can dribble from post to post.

Unfortunately Rohr isn't good with players substitution. How can you explain that only one keeper was tested over 2 FRIENDLY matches?

A senior member of the team AINA was not given a sense of belonging in 2 FRIENDLY matches.

Whatever rejig that may happen in the defence Balogun and Awaziem shouldn't be affected.

Maybe Iheanocho should be tried in Chukwueze's position upon the return of Osihmen.

I'm impressed with the player Simon is becoming.

Akpoguma plays better in CB than RB.

So that was how Iheanacho collected 2 yellow cards and still remained in the pitch.

Forget the goal, this is a very disappointing performance from the SE so far. They can barely hold possession for 1 minute.

This Akpoguma guy, I hope this our love story will end we'll, on no account should he be pecked ahead of Ehuehi, dude got the look of Akpu-eater but agility of Indomie-eater.

Chukwueze needs to stop dribbling, can't remember when I saw him last complete a successful dribble, he needs his coaches to tell him that.

Sanusi needs to use more of his head than body, though not a bad performance.

Simon has improved ahead of Kalu, though still not to the level of V. Moses.

Ahmed Musa, hmmm with the exception of the penalty he won for us has he touched ball?

Semi Ajayi, certainly not Ndidi.

I thought Rohr would have tested other players by starting them, including Awaziem for Balogun, Collins for Sanusi, Yakubu for Okoye, Ejuke for either Chukwueze or Simon.

Balogun's rugged display in the defence is always a joy to watch, another player with similar feature is Omeruo. I hope Akpoguma can be a higher version of Balogun, Semi Ajayi seems to be doing better in midfield than defence and finally make we dey learn to respect Iwobi.

Nevertheless, it doesn't change the fact that players from the so called region where talent can be found in Nigeria according to what I told here are favoured above OTHERS.

In other words, Rohr is biased against your region? Meanwhile your world lass Ajagun has been kicked out of an average Belgium club.

What makes it unofficial? Ain't this an official FIFA window, or don't you know the outcome of these matches also gonna have effect on FIFA rankings? Friendly matches are taken seriously these days by FIFA

It's called friendly and yes the outcome of the match will surely affect FIFA ranking, however not all FIFA's strict regulations are applied especially with players selection that's why teams can chose to go above number of substitution as against FIFA regulation.

Both Tobias and Akpoguma are not in contention for a place in any of the matches because neither of the two was invited officially, nor have Nigerian passport to qualify for the match

The matches are not official matches and I don't think official invitation should be a criteria to get featured.
