It was George Onyeibe who revealed in the "BBC Global Disinformation Team video" that the leadership of ip*b recruited thousands of members and bought thousands of laptops, mobile phones, internet data, and monthly salaries or stipends to spread massive disinformation and hate speech online using FB, X, YouTube, WhatsApp, and even Nairaland is under seige. The well-spoken Uche Mefor claimed he was responsible for setting up the secessionist pirate radio station and the secessionist social media arm also spoke in that BBC video.
