Below is a book abot the squadron with the emblem on it;a crossed scyth with a berret on the U.S flag in referance to their American founding members and Stars

By the right is Jan Zumbach,a member of the Squadron who flew the only plane;an obsolete world war 1 plane with an Igbo man behind,droping grenades with his bare hands from the air for Biafra in the Nigerian civil-war

At the middle is Merian Cooper,a founding member of the Squadron and a movie producer

When France capitulated,they fled to Britain.

In Britain,they were retrained with modern(as at that time) war aircrafts.Although they were notably stubborn and were gross womanizers but they were quick to learn.

Two months into the war of Britain,the Polish airmen,filled with vengeful hatred towards the Germans were not allowed to join in as their British superiors felt they were not trained enough for the task.

Finally,they were let in and they delivered.They took the record of the highest squadron to down German Aircrafts,a huge feat for World war Two that was fought on the air with aircrafts.The also had alot of ace pilots.

After the war,Poland was ceded to the Stalin communist USSR and it didn't go down well with the Poles,they felt betrayed.This happened becuase Britain and the U.S had to form an alliance with Stalin to defeat Hitler.Even the media started painting Stalin in good picture ignoring his countless genocides.The Squadron wasn't even allowed to march in the Victory parade to please Stalin.

The Kosciuszko or 303 squadron was a Polish Squadron formed by a small group of American volunteers in the Polish uprising.The name was gotten from a Polish hero,Tadeusz Kosciuszko.

Among the founding members was Merian Cooper,a popular movie producer known for producing the movie "King Kong".He was given the Highest Polish Honour for the Military by Jozef Pilsudski,the then Commander-in-Chief,the Vituti Militari.

When Poland was attacked by the USSR and Nazi Germany Coalition,alot of Polish airmen fled to France.

They were not impressed by the attitude of the French who were non-challant about the war Notably Witold Urbanowicz

Witold escaped a Russian gulag on foot to France.When France was defeated they all fled to The UK,there they were named the 303 squadron.

Indomie kids will not remember that "Holy Ghost fire" track
