We can all see today that, the reverse is the case. What had the subsidy removal yielded so far?

1) Many homes have been thrown into poverty, including the homes of the keyboard warriors on Nairaland who are supporting this evil government but only suffering and smiling.

2) A lot of SMEs have closed shop thereby throwing millions into unemployment, directly or indirectly

3) A lot of our youths have left the country after losing their jobs

4) inflation has been in it's highest peak since independence.

5) Insecurity has increased due to hardship in the land.

6) Many ladies now do hook up to augment their earnings while guys have taken to vices

7) Life has become so hard for many as they can't even move around with their vehicles anymore

8 ) Nigerian government now pays subsidy in trillions.

9) No single kobo was saved as a result of the subsidy removal.

Lastly, when they say karma is real, only fools will differ. Tinubu hit the streets during Jonathan era and disrupted a peaceful and progressive government with a robust GDP, just because he said he wanted to remove subsidy for the benefits of all.

Jonathan had even provided palliatives and set up a Sure-P programme for the reinvestment of the subsidy proceeds ahead of the removal. He sent buses to states nationwide but you discouraged fashola ftom accepting the ones sent to Lagos. You called gej unprintable names, sponsored protests nationwide with our state's funds.

Many gullible and tribalistic bigots swallowed his propaganda hook, line and sinker just to hijack power. Kayode fayemi corroborated this political gang up a few months ago during a gathering in which GEJ was in attendance, he said the protest was political. After hijacking power, you now brought up same subsidy removal even without a single palliative in place. People now want to protest and you're busy bribing fake groups to discourage it. This protest will probably be the longest and widest in the history of Africa. No home is spared from the current economic woes.

All those who revolted against Jonathan back then, using insecurity, kidnaping and other means are now in the apc, holding key positions. Atahiru Jega the former inec chair has recently joined them, l'obatan. After all Orubebe was right when he was accusing him in the collation room.

Why is it only Nigeria that's hardest hit by the so-called global inflation in africa? Karma is the answer.

Imagine Federal Government banking on NANS as to have the ability to stand down the proposed nationwide protest. National Association of Nigerian Students that is another arm of irredeemable corruption? The days of glory of NANS had long gone into extinction. It's today an annexure of the pyramid of corruption that stands the way of exemplary leadership in Nigeria.

If Nigerian Government is banking on the NANS for anything, then it's a joke driven too far. The organization is a mesh in which modern bad fishes are harvested. NLC irrespective of its state of decadence is better than NANS. If anyone is depending on the NANS either for a successful protest or stoppage of same or for any other reason, such a person is clapping with one hand. An organization that has no coordination. Yes, it used to be a veritable platform through which voices of reason arose individually and collectively, but since ten years now, it has become an arm of the government at the centre.

It's difficult to find anyone in the NANS today that can make a leader if given opportunity to manifest. When last did NANS make its presence felt in matters of national interest? One organization with seven presidents. How many times in a period of ten years has it made a case for the students in different institutions of higher education in Nigeria? Sigh!

Should students join the August 1 planned protest?

Peter Obi is loved by many that believed he is better of Tinubu and Atiku in times of managing the economy.

One thing is certainly clear so far Obi is concerned, is either you love him or you hate him.

As for me, the only politician I love presently is GSM of Oyo State.

The ripple effects of BOLA AHMED TINUBU harsh administration is gradually affecting everyone.

The MGT of the school made several efforts to cope with the economic realities on ground most especially the daily increase in the price of everything, yet; they has no option other than to transfer the tax burden to the students. The students after making this noise will definitely transmit the burden to their parents/guardians. In thesame vain, the parents/guardians will transfer the burden to the society by inflating the price of goods and services while government will be happy taxing all of us through patrol products. The rich getting richer while the poor getting poorer.
