Petrol is a commodity which price is determined by global factors. Unless Govt is subsidizing the price of the product, the price will be at cost with a little margin for producers and marketers. If it cost Dangote N800 to refine a liter of fuel, the selling price will be close to N1,000. If NNPC can source cheaper through other local refiners or marketers, then they should provide the product.
Alternative is to really work hard at other options to petrol products for our energy needs. Like Rail, Electricity etc.
We can't eat our cake and still have it at the same time. This is the reality.
