Fubara dig his own downfall the moment he started forming don less than 6 months after his inauguration. He started bringing his boss enemies into his camp without him having atleast half of the assembly by him side. People like Falana has misled him enough. He need to swallow humble pie for now.
psucc: He has his head just as I have mine. So let him think for himself. He has people he's paying as SSA, let them advice him. If he seeks for my advice, he can consult me. In 2 months, if he will heed my words, this will become a story to tell.
Thanks for your contribution elder. Its now obvious they don't have what it takes to build a national party but to come and hijack what others have laboured for.
I just brought this video here atleast to clear the part Awolowo where they always lied its because Awolowo betrayed Zik reason he formed alliance with the North. Atleast from a British account he let us know Zik have to bend to avoid going to jail for his corruption practise.
Tinubuadvocate: It always baffles me whenever I see igbo accused Yoruba selfish and betrayal. NCNC was founded by Herbert macaulay a Yoruba man and majority southern Nigeria are in the party this included Awolowo Azikiwe Anthony Ehnaro Alvanikoku and many more macaulay handed over the leadership to Azikiwe when he can't functioning effectively because of old age .guess what Azikiwe destroyed the party fought Awolowo and other southern person. and man
So the igbos soldiers now killed the Hausa and Yorubas leaders to settle the political crisis ?
Mrfeel: Arthur Chinyelu Unegbe was not from the east?
Besides there was no political Crisis in the east the coup happened in the north and south west that's where the crisis was , awolowo started the crisis akintola ran to the north for help the north got involved
psucc: You have a point. Same Martins wouldn't try this shit with Wike. By now he would be some feet's down, that's if . . .
Sim seems to be too gentle. He should remember HE, Rochas Okorocha advice to late Sen Ifeanyi Una that "Politics is the business of Mad people". Sim should take his gentleman to Primary School as a teacher
We are both saying the same thing. The Igbos killed everyone knowingly and unknowingly but no single officer from eastern region was touched
Mrfeel: Awolowo was in imprisoned in the eastern region he was the easiest to be killed why wasn't he killed? Cause he was the reason for the coup in the first place
So Awolowo and Akintola political crisis was the reason Igbo soldiers killed leaders from other region except their own?
Mrfeel: Thank God zik didn't start a political Crisis where people were throwing acid on each other, a political Crisis that led to the first coup which led to a counter coup which led to the civil war all started by one person awolowo
Thank God Awolowo didn't steal from his bank or anywhere that would have warrant the colonial master to use that to blackmail him and also force him to their side.
Mrfeel: Can the elders enlighten which is more noble between the position of a ceremonial president for a zik of Africa who fought for the independence of the country and was given a well deserved position that could be likened to the queen of England. or awolowo who started political Crisis in his own region fighting with his own people thrown into prison who was later released and appointed the minister of finance to a 31 yr old military head of state who was placed there by bloody coup plotters who didn't want to rule the country directly but indirectly through Gowon their puppet?
Nothing like betrayal here. From the account of the man, he never said anyone betrayed anyone. The point is that Zik stole money and to avoid being jailed he ran North on the instruction of the colonial masters
After the pre-independence election, no party had a majority in Parliament. Both the Chief Obafemi Awolowo-led Action Group and the Sir Ahmadu Bello-led Northern Peoples Party approached the Azikiwe-led NCNC for a coalition.
For reasons not to be exposed of his corrupt practises Dr. Azikiwe chose to form a coalition with the NPC and accepted the role of ceremonial President, a role that had little power beyond declaring open Parliament and receiving visiting Heads of State.
I don't think anything is new in the write up. Mind you, I'm not saying anyone is right and anyone is wrong but I will still blame Fubara.
Why do I blame him, since you have a political ambition, he should have sort help elsewhere and not with Wike. Wike is easy to study without even moving close to him and I doubt anyone will go that extent Wike goes because of Fubara without his own personal interests.
If possible Wike would have married a new wife for Fubara to control his bed knowing the type of person he is. Fubara as a gentleman should have step down and look for his help elsewhere if he doesn't want to be controlled by Wike.
Both Muslim and Christian, our clerics always warn us never to seek the devil help for anything, either for money, fruit of the womb, work, position or anything because if devil gives a fowl, it will always ask for a cow.
I see majority of our politicians as devil, if you don't want the devil to control you, wait for God's time and work hard yourself.
tope777: What you don't know is bigger than you. Not to bite the hand that feeds you is to dwell in all plans as stated below??
By the time Fubara got back from the Stadium where his inauguration held, many appointments had already been made for him
Already appointed where his Kitchen & other domestic Staff, driver & other personal Staff up to his Chief Security Officer
His Stomach and Life having been firmly secured within their hold, they moved to other areas
A Camp Commandant was also appointed alongside full security contingent already kept for him (most of whom weren't familiar with his)
The chain had further been fastened
Then they to the level of Government, several other appointments had also been made
A Cousin of his predecessor(Wike) was already appointed as his Chief of Staff (the first to see him in the morning and last to see him at night)
If you think that's all, then you're wrong
Then the Commissioners
He had no say in how most of them emerged
Of course, many served in the previous administration and had their localities elsewhere
I don't know of any Governor who wouldn't be choked by such level of chaining
It's not like it's the first time someone would be helping another become Governor
Even the chainer himself had been helped
Interestingly, those who helped the chainer allowed him freedom of decision
But the chainer being whom he is, built firmly walled Chain around the helped
Let me make it clear
Another Cousin of the helper was made Speaker of the Assembly he would work with
Then at the Party level, two relatives of the Helper were made Chairmen of the two dominant Parties existing in the State
The helper's plan was clear
He was to just answer a Governor with the control of his own Government elsewhere
Again, I don't know which of us would accept this situation
Then the helper's Boys had no respect for him
They called him small Boy, Mugu & sundry names
It was the norm to disrespect him
This Governor was in chains and ought to enjoy it
But he dared for his freedom
Rivers State situation is not because Fubara is an ingrate but because of Wike uncontrolled greediness.
Today, whatever the situation, the point has been established that he can't be pushed the way they thought.
Yoruba and suffering? But anytime they asked you to leave the suffering region you will be crying around
Smartcitizen: What is wrong with Yorubas and slavery mentality Biko nu?
This guy has really suffered in this Tinubu's fumbling government but he has never been able to come out of slavery/ poverty mentality.
Most times I sincerely wonder the kind of suffering and struggling background most of you are coming from that has made you people reason like this always.
Maybe when we shun democracy then godfatherism will go.
spiSeyi: This is the mentality that's keeping us as a nation backwards, when are we going to shun godfatherlism. Where's Amaechi that brought Wike to power 2day . Wike too go cast
She should also raise a false alarm against the IPU for telling her they will listen to other party and also her contribution is different from the matter on ground.
Fubara shouldn't have allowed the ex governor to sponsor him to be the governor since he is saint.
owobokiri: So what is the moral of your story? That a sitting governor must dance to whims and caprices of a totally corrupt and arrogant ex governor, just because the governor is very good at roforofo politics? This is how nations are buikt in your mindset, abi? Agbadorians! When will you surprise Nigerians by sounding reasonable for once?
