we have no issue against herbal medicine itself, what we have an issue with is the fact that herbal medicine is very unregulated in nigeria.

Take China for example, their acupuncture, moxibustion and herbal medicine is quite advanced because it has been studied extensively for centuries, and they have standard formulas for their pills and agbo. But here, some people will pluck random leaves from their backyard, use water from God knows where to boil it or use local alcohol and tell you that it can cure 22 ailments when it is just 1 or 2.

See ehn, if you see the amount of people who wrck their kidneys or liver, have labor complications or die of hypertension or diabetes because of a salesman's honeyed words touting praises of agbo with no evidence to back it up. You would hate it too.
